We live in a country where a momentary shortage, that has not yet even materialized, of a specific, beloved processed cheese product, is a national news story deemed worthy by citizens of being suffixed into a “-pocalypse”
I’ve found Velveeta to be of value only when heading into the Boundary Waters in the late Summer.
And the lactose intolerant gluten allergenics said “Amen!”

Homemade chicken noodle witha bit of onions, hot pepper (serrano) and loads of black pepper works for me.
Velveeta might look like cheese but is only a notion.

I made a vow many years ago that I will NEVER eat anything with the words “veeta” or “whiz” within it’s name...
A country that can’t even supply velveeta to its citizens !? My , how the mighty have fallen! ( yes, I know, it’s Bush ‘s fault. )
