Yeah,
Walmart, K-mart, Target etc etc all need more customers to work well.
They all probably will because they don't have a community organizer running them. If they can survive the economy the community organizer has thrown at them.

It won't ever work well.

It may work as Obama and the Democrats intended, but it will never work well.

It may even seem to work fiscally, because they are dumping a few million more on Medicaid to keep subsidy costs lower, but it will never work well.

This government will dissemble, mislead and inflate the numbers of 'enrollees' as well as hiding the millions more new Medicaid recipients right on through the 2014 elections and, if they can contain that fat lady's bustle, through the 2016 elections.

There are three absolutes one can count on for 2014: 1) the government will lie about it, 2) the media will help them, and 3) Obama will blame everyone but himself. Universal idioms.

More needed to enroll. Setting an example for all, the representatives sent to serve, will all enroll.

We are a society running on automatic for the most part. Over the next hundred days...some folks will appear at the doctor’s office for their regular six-month appointment, and be told that their old policy is gone, their new policy is in effect, and that this doctor doesn’t honor this type of policy....so you either pay in cash or leave the premises.

You can imagine the shock....day after day....week after week...thousands by March come to discover that things aren’t the same old way they were for the past decade.

So they start to look for the doctors who will honor this bronze policy, and discover that this doctor is very aware of the deductible business, and he wants a check or credit card put down in ‘good faith’ by the “customer” (forget the term patient for the next year or two).

You’d get awful upset....having to put down $300 to show your faith on this deductible business, then you discover that with the lab stuff, and additional visit later...this one problem will cost you $2,100. So that measly $300 was nothing but the start of a financial drain on your life. Now you have to find $1,800 or charge that to your credit card, or ask the bank for a loan (they will laugh over that but easily give you a nine-percent loan for one stupid visit to the doctor).

By mid-summer, a family of four will owe $4,500 from these bronze-plan episodes. Dad will turn back to the 2012 policy that he had, and realize now that it was $1,500 then. The strategy change for late fall 2014? A bunch of folks will think low-deductible will be the way to go and they all sign up for massive $11,000 a year health plans, with a $1,500 deductible. Course, you know the story....they dig themselves deeper into debt.

And the administration? They will sit and wonder why they never took business classes in college, and why they never had a single business expert on the Presidential staff.

Zerocare will Not get better, only much much worse. Those Democrats who
supported this debacle are hiding and squirming in dark corners trying
to avoid any truth about their support and epic failure to properly inform
themselves and the public about the true nature of this overthrow of 1/6
of the Freedoms Americans used to enjoy.

And the Republicans are sporadically trying to actually offer Fixes for
the Zerocare that absolutely will not work in a free society without being
forced at the end of the Assault Weapons the left so much despise, unless those
guns are being used for their Agenda.

Our Government on both sides will never admit failure which is why it's
up to the Citizens to realize once again that WE The People have the ultimate power
and must exercise that power before it's taken away by the Tyrannical dictatorship
elected in both the Republicans and Democrat houses. They need to know who they work for!

needs more enrollees to work well...

This is like the fat guy stuck in a water slide, in need of sending down a handful of slim people to unplug the clog.

The likely result of this?

Just wait for the stories about not just Grandma and Grandpa ‘passing on’ but Mom and Dad’s insurance wasn’t ‘good enough’ and they died from ‘whatever’ and then little Johnnie and Mary found out that the house they were living in with them now belongs to the Government and they must now leave.

Oh yes, forget any ‘collectibles’ going with you because the tax man and probate already took them so as to pay for the ‘Insurance’ that wasn’t good enough and ended up letting Mom and Dad die because the ‘Death Panel’ said they weren’t good enough ‘productive citizens’.

The sheeple will put up with nickel and diming them as long as the bite is small. But losing loved ones and the ‘inheritance’ too? I think a lot of squishy democrats will be getting their mugging and turning into conservatives.

Why? Well they all don’t live in crime infested cities or behind the walls of gated communities. But they all have parents and the effects of Obamacare will slam them in the face when it effects them and their loved ones let them know all about it before they ‘pass on’.

Obamacare needs more enrollees to work well

It doesn't matter. The government will just dig deeper into the pockets of all taxpayers and declare victory.

When all of the prescription anti depressants and major tranqs start to run out, elected officials will need to beef up their security details. Want to see someone snap? Tell them them they can’t have their drugs. Those would be otherwise reasonable people. Wait til the subsidized set can’t get their meds.

Through all this, observers should keep calm. The Obama administration’s success at tackling many of the tasks ahead won’t be clear for months, once the open-enrollment period ends and more numbers start coming in.

The Kool-Aid flows deep on the Washington Post editorial page. Obamacare isn't even supposed to "work well". It's supposed to smash the US health care system to smithereens. (If you don't like your tumor, you still have to keep your tumor.)
