A New York Times investigation has found no evidence to support claims al-Qaeda or any other international terrorist organization had links to the 2012 storming of the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. The six-part report published Saturday instead blamed the poorly-planned attack on local extremists outraged by an American-made video mocking Islam. The Times refutes claims made by many Republicans that al-Qaeda was involved in the attack despite Obama administration assertions to the contrary. Extensive interviews with Libyans in Benghazi who had direct knowledge of the attack there and its context, turned up no evidence that Al Qaeda or other

Yes, our President and his administration helped Al-Qaeda in Libya, but it wasn’t Al-Qaeda that attacked those American facilities and murdered those American citizens. You can see that, can’t you? It’s not really treason! They were just doing what they thought was best for themselves...er....I mean our country. Maybe they were willing to sell their nation into defeat and their countrymen into slavery and death, but does that make them bad people? So what if Obama and his pals committed treason? So what? It’s only dead Americans.
Good links. Thanks.
I don’t think that the NYT piece would necessarily fall under the classification of “Government Made News”. I think that having operatives inside a major news organization for years masquerading as news is a horse of a different color.
Something closer to treason. But then, that’s just my opinion.
NY Slimes continues to sink even lower for its beloved Obozo.
Good morning NSA.
Who cares who did it or why. The issue is why did Obama and his cowards let them die alone, without lifting a finger to help them.
Gooooood Moooooooorning NNNNN SSSSSSSSSS AAAAAAAAAAYY!!
Defender of benghazi
Smokescreen ping-—no matter how they ‘rebrand it’ never forget that one thing is for shiite certain...it was an act of terror done by terrorists. PERIOD......

The NYT is nothing but a vehicle to parrot Obama Administration lies. There was no investigation. It is simply lies.
IT DOES NO GOOD JUST TO SAY IT.
MOST WHO READ THAT BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN AND ILLUSTRATED ARTICLE NOW THINK THEY HAVE FINALLY HEARD THE TRUTH.
We need to fight this.
Have not read the NYT article yet I have questions:
- Assuming they are correct, what information and methods did they use to arrive to this conclusion? Investigative reporting only gets you so much, at some point classified information owned by the USG has to be analyzed to reach this conclusion authoritatively. Then, who gave this USG info to the NYT and why? Otherwise their conclusion is just an opinion.
- Why is the NYT expending time, effort and dollars to “investigate” an event already garnering the attention of Congress when there are so many other scandals which demand equal or greater “journalistic” attention; Fast and Furious (more dead than in Bengazi), IRS persecution of conservative groups, nationally organized and rampant voter fraud in the last national election cycle, failure of obamacare, a racially motivated Justice Dept., billions of taxpayers dollars wasted on WH pet projects (Solyndra, GM bailout, etc), an so on. One answer might be to help hillary since I think the wheels are coming of the obama wagon and they might not care to spend too much capital defending him.
My initial instinct is to question the motive (tactical through strategic) behind the action and then look at what they intend to achieve with said action. This is not a newspaper of old who merely wants to bring the events that transpired away from where you live but another political tool of the left.
Regards and have a Blessed New Year.
Even if the headline were true:
Where was Hilary and where was the President when the 3:00 am call came?
Why did they fail to act?
Why wasn’t military assistance sent?
There was a failure to prepare and a failure to send assistance both of which proved that neither Hilary nor the President did their job!
One guy in an Al Qaeda terrorist cell somewhere in Africa is surprised to learn of the attack on the consulate and the NYT concludes that Al Qaeda wasn’t involved.
That’s some solid investigative journalism right there. /s
I agree with you - on this piece in NY Times but we do have those obamacare promotion videos!
I'm sure you wpuldn't mind being wrong on this, so, "GOP congressman blasts NY Times Benghazi claims as 'misleading'". Hopefully, it doesn't stop with this response.
>50% of Americans too stupid to know they don’t know anything.
