DNC sends email defending Obama from impeachment possibility

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) sent out a paranoid email Saturday evening urging supporters to vote for Democrats so that Republicans can’t impeach President Obama.
The email, subject line “Impeachment,” was sent to Obama for America supporters, imploring them to contribute to the DNC’s 2014 efforts. “What do these people all have in common?,” the email asked, featuring quotes from Republican Sen. James Inhofe of Oklahoma, Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, Rep. Kerry Bentivolio of Michigan, and Rep. Blake Farenthold of Texas discussing the possibility of impeaching Obama for one of his numerous instances of presidential misconduct.
The DNC email discussed the “I-Word” and said that “Republicans are actually excited about the idea.”
“Show these Republicans that they are way, way off-base, and give President Obama a Congress that has his back,” according to the DNC email, noting that Democrats need to win 17 GOP House seats to reclaim a majority.
The DNC, which recently expanded its political tactics to include boycotting independent news outlets, previously supported the last president to be impeached: Bill Clinton.
Obama’s staff changed key talking points on the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack; his Internal Revenue Service targeted conservative groups during the 2012 election cycle; and Obama personally lied to the American people when he told them that they could keep their existing doctors and health insurance plans under Obamacare.
Obama’s expansion of executive branch authority is “setting the stage for something very dangerous in the future” according to Republican Rep. Justin Amash.
He's half white. We can impeach the white side of him.
With Biden and Pelosi in line, there is no way that anyone will impeach Obama.
What will hopefully happen is that a Congress will impose more restrictions on him and keep him in line instead of allowing him and his cronies to openly break laws.

Didn’t we have some Republicans quietly go to the Middle East? Maybe they have something. The Democrats may be doing a pre-emptive strike to try and take the death penalty out of the negotiations. That death penalty threat can cause a lot of canaries to sing.

The GOP leadership isn’t going to bring up impeachment, but now the DNC has done exactly that, even though only as part of a fundraising appeal.
This might backfire on them as it will cause some debate among liberals, many of whom know well that Obama has dumped all over the Constitution. Plus, they’re mad at him for plenty of reasons, like failing to close Guantanamo, staying in Afghanistan, cozying up to the banks, etc.
Might be a little like tossing a match in the air after a gasoline spill if they’re not careful...
Thank-you for the information. This could also explain the New York Times last ditch effort to protect this administration on Benghazi. I think that Benghazi is only the tip of the iceberg. Why did Hillary and Obama use American taxpayer funded personnel, equipment and facilities to overthrow the government of Libya? When in their lives were they ever freedom fighters? They’ve always been money-grubbing political hacks.
I can just see McCain getting behind impeachment, can’t you? He’s the putz that handed us ol’ jug-ears who’s his BFF.

Sounds good on paper, but you would never get answers from him. He would plead the 5th all day and then get pardoned. He should serve time, but I do not envision that.
