Christmas Eve Coffee Bump.
TO THE
Good morning, Everyone. Good morning to our
AWESOME
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Lauren, for preparing
the Canteen for todays activities.
Well, here we are...Christmas Eve.
Hope y'all have gotten all the
shopping, wrapping, and baking done by now.
Funny, I woke up this morning and realized
I don't have anything special for dinner tonight.
I guess I need to dig something out of the freezer.
Mr. Beachy and I will have a quiet evening at home,
watching Christmas movies
before the road running tomorrow.
Early Thursday morning, we are going
to see The Hobbit - The Desolation of Smaug.
Time for me to make my rounds.
But, you stay right where you are.
Stay as long as you can
before you have to go to bed so that
Santa can sneak into the house.
Now remember, the Canteen is ALWAYS
So, come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM
DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

Merry Christmas to you!!
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. How’s it going?
Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))
It’s going well...till I get to work to help all those men
find just the right Christmas gift! :)
Hope you and Bo have a very Merry Christmas! Stay warm! My kids
in OKC lost heat on that coldest day and the house got down
to 50 degrees. The heater is now fixed, thank goodness!
My uncle, who’s now well into his 90’s, spent the last several years of his career at Fort Rucker.....he still loves the memories of that period. After retirement, he couldn’t leave Alabama and still lives there.
Thank you! Merry Christmas to you, too....and your family! (((hugs)))
Been having problems with Yahoo Mail this morning. Keeps wanting to log me out every few seconds. Everyone using Yahoo Mail is apparently having the same problem
Drive safely! There’re going to be a lot of folks on the Ten tomorrow...watch for blowing dust!
Thanks for the good wish. We’re at my son’s house now.
Happy Christmas to all the canteeners.
It also stands out for me later on as a spouse of an Army aviator. It was a good life for a young couple back when the Officer's Club was in full swing. We weren't far from the Florida beaches. It was a great place to live, and many others have agreed with me. I always preferred Ft. Rucker over larger bases.
Yes, the sound of the helicopters overhead was always comforting. As Joe Galloway has said, “that sound is the lullaby of our youth.”
I am so sorry I forgot to reply to this ping.
I was just at a funeral last night, got yacking with people and just ****ed up.
Prayers for Dawns Daughter.
Late getting here but joining in with prayers for Ashley and her family.
