Porsha Stewart reveals she thinks Underground Railroad was a real train
Fox News ^ | December 23, 2013

Seriously?

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cameras captured Porsha Stewart’s crumbling marriage and messy divorce from her pro-football hubby, Kordell Stewart, but on Sunday night’s episode the reality show caught Porsha’s most cringe-worthy moment yet.

As the ladies of the Bravo show headed on a Freedom Trail tour in Savannah, Stewart revealed that she thought the Underground Railroad was a real, physical train. Yikes.

I saw that interview too. The admiral who was being questioned did a remarkable job of keeping a straight face.

I know I would have done a lot of head shaking and snickering.

Imagine having an idiot like that for a congressman.

Must see YouTube video! (no joke--he was dead serious!)

March 2010:

Democrat Representative Hank Johnson fears Guam may "tip over" and "capsize" due to overpopulation!

The public (government) school system strikes again.

One entire month of the school year is devoted to “black history” and she doesn’t know this?

When I was in grade school (the 50s) we learned this when it was just plain old white (sarcasm) history.

I heard a quote from the mother that the baby daddy, near as she can tell, is a guy named Bentley.

In another version I have heard the baby daddy is rumoured to be named DeLexus.

Yeah, people are clueless...

In college in the ‘60’s, my uncle once bet someone (from somewhere in New England) that there really was a place named Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. (They were watching the old Truth or Consequences TV show...) They eventually decided that the best way to resolve the bet would be to call Ma Bell directory information and get the area code for “T or C”. Imagine my uncle’s astonishment when the operator said there was no such place, said to stop with the crank calls, and hung up. He had to pay up!

She never said that she could see Russia from her house. That “quote” came from Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live.

“one of the quotes most strongly associated with former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin is the exclamation “I can see Russia from my house!” even though she didn’t actually utter that phrase during the campaign.

The basis for the line was Governor Palin’s 11 September 2008 appearance on ABC News, her first major interview after being tapped as the vice-presidential nominee.

During that appearance, interviewer Charles Gibson asked her what insight she had gained from living so close to Russia, and she responded:

“They’re our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska”

Yes there is a Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. I had lunch there enroute from my home in the mid-west to Ft. Huachuca, AZ back in Sept, 1978.

You mean the Soul Train didn’t use the Underground Railroad?

Pretty sure it did.
