Former CIA Director James Woolsey had harsh words Tuesday for anyone thinking about giving Edward Snowden amnesty, and argued the NSA leaker should be hanged if hes ever tried and convicted of treason.
Woolsey, along with former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Hugh Shelton, spoke Tuesday in Washington in an interview with Fox News.
I think giving him amnesty is idiotic, Woolsey said. He should be prosecuted for treason. If convicted by a jury of his peers, he should be hanged by his neck until he is dead."

theres nothing that proves that snowden “sold” secret to the chinese or the russians so i ask you freepers to stop repeating these rumors that have nothing to back them up
taxes in russia are far lower then in usa
And so should everybody in DC who knew about it and did nothing, if they are convicted of treason.
> Ill take my liberty over security.
AMEN!!!!!!!!!
Someone who GETS it!!
“The damage that Snowden has done to Americas security”
That misses the point of what is happening.
You would also save lives if police routinely went door to door searching every house without exception.
...but then there are Constitutional rights.
I appreciate that Snowden blew the lid off this Constitutional mess.
And what about all the NSA/CIA warrentless spying?
“I don’t care who knows about those things in my life”
If you’ve nothing to “hide” then surely you don’t have anything covering your windows either, right?
“The damage will be huge economically and you are already seeing it.”
Yea, you violate someone’s trust and for some reason they don’t want a relationship with you...
“I took a Sacred Oath (So help me, God!) to that Constitution. I do not CARE if nobody or everybody gives a damn about my phone conversations—they are MINE. The government has no RIGHT whatsoever unless probable cause has been sworn to and a judge writes a warrant.”
+1
He was right about the OKC bombing.
Agreed. Any enemy that doesn't already know where the trunk lines are and how they have been tapped is of no concern to us.
They should take that Freedom Medal from Hillary and give it to Snowden.
Bingo. The people who initiated these programs are the ones responsible, not Snowden.
They are selective in who is and is not a threat to our national security.

I am talking about him giving up our secrets to other countries. What you are talking about is internal to the U.S.
Snowden should be hanged for the rat traitor he is.
BTW - I believe this even though I think Obama and the Dems are communist scum.
NSA drones and NSA contrators probably have been demanding billions more from secret black budget congressional committees to patch up the damage Edward Snowden did. So Snowden will work out great for the dialed in NSA contractors with many more billions being shoveled out the door for them
He’s revealed to Americans they’re being spied on by their government. So he must die.
If they must hang him they should pin a medal on his chest for exposing the spy works that have been turned on many an innocent american citizen.....
This whole NSA crap all sounds eerily familiar to the whole “Writs of assitance” that the crown tried over 200 years ago...
If we get rid of the NSA spying, who will even listen to the citizens???
The point isn't whether or not they have ever peeping Tommed on you personally. It's that they can an will if they so choose. It's a type of technological prison and the warden can stop by at any time that pleases him. It's like having this guy as your manager:
"The most valuable commodity I know of, is information."~Gordon Gekko 'Wallstreet'
They are destroying and wasting the freedom and liberty this country's Founding Fathers valued and bled for. How far we have fallen.
Correct. He is an out and out traitor.
But KGB Putin is teaching him how to make Americans think he's a hero. The whole "wilderness of mirrors" thing is still alive today.
