Phil Robertson, patriarch of the Duck Dynasty clan, is being slammed for controversial comments he made about homosexuality in an interview in the January issue of GQ.
It seems like, to me, a vaginaas a manwould be more desirable than a mans anus. Thats just me, Robertson told the magazine. Im just thinking: Theres more there! Shes got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what Im saying? But hey, sin: Its not logical, my man. Its just not logical.
When the reporter asked Robertson what he found sinful, he said Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.
The self-proclaimed Bible-thumper then went on to paraphrase Corinthians: Dont be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlersthey wont inherit the kingdom of God. Dont deceive yourself. Its not right.(continued)

Nothing... he spoke the truth and angered satan.
How was that comment “anti-gay?” He didn’t take a position that he hated homosexuals... He merely responded to a question and expressed a viewpoint that he didn’t understand how a man could not desire relations with a woman.
Nothing like whipping up a firestorm to marginalized these people. The leftards aren’t offended the gleeful at the opportunity act offended.
As far as Ass & Entertainment is concerned, there’s no distinction between the vulva and anus.
The reality of it is that males have this wild man operating in his carnal nature. The male is willing to screw anything animate or inanimate. However, our civilization, since Judaism’s prohibition of non-marital sex in the Torah, tries to keep under control that wild man. You can imagine what kind of activity would occur if the restrictions were taken away and males could have sex with animals, parent-child incest and all nature of unchanneled sex. There is one thing for certain, the offspring would be the last thing of concern (except as a sexual outlet). Queer marriage is just one step into the abyss of unrestricted sexual appetite.
It was "free speech". Socialists can't stand that sort of "thing".
Well, I’m glad he called them out on it. What they do is gross, as well as unsanitary. Expose it for what it is. They should be ashamed of it and fight their desires to avoid it.
Same as any other sin.
“What did he say that was incorrect?”
Nothing that Pope Francis, “Man of the Year,” hasn’t said or thought. Go figure.
Someone needs to tell GLAAD that.
Gonna ask why they called it a rant (which it was not), but it’s the NYer.
No I ask you which would you rather be, a self-proclaimed Bible-thumper or a product centered around sex, drugs and rock and roll?
The self proclaimed Bible thumper cliche is beginning to get boring. But we should never forget the admonition of another thumper, a great Democrat President known affectionately as Give em Hell Harry.
The fundamental basis of this nation’s law was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teaching we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul. I don’t think we emphasize that enough these days. If we don’t have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally end up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in the right for anybody except the state. Harry S. Truman
“Rant”, what rant?
Robertson stated his beliefs WITHOUT RANTING I might add. Of course without using the word “rant”, that article might have just flew past without a notice.
Amen!
He said what Bible-centered ministers, pastors and priests have been preaching from the pulpit for centuries.
Watch for a future attack on clerics for using Jesus' name and quoting from the Bible anywhere on public (government) ground (think invocations on school grounds, funerals in military cemetaries, bedside prayers in VA hospitals....) The punishment will well be removal of the tax exemption for the clerics' houses of worship.
Don't laugh. Many freepers are aware that two military chaplains are suing the government and the VA because they received orders not to pray in Jesus' name or quote from the Bible in public ceremonies.

Yahoo calls it a “tirade”
