A&E has placed Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson on indefinite hiatus following anti-gay remarks he made in a recent profile in GQ.
"We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty," A&E said in a statement. "His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely."

Email message sent stating that due to their support of the homosexual lifestyle, I will no longer watch their channel (ever) no matter what they do with Duck Dynasty.
Right or wrong, I quit FR about 2 weeks ago, but after all of these years and having made over 34,000 posts, I found myself lurking today…. and I simply couldn’t pass this one up.
Damn these homosexual loving perverts to hell. I may very well cancel my subscription to DIRECTV over this.
I began watching Duck Dynasty just a few weeks ago. I find it amusing and usually good for a laugh or two. It has become very difficult to find anything worth watching anymore…. I think it’s time for me to move on with this too.

So it’s only Phil, not the rest of his family. A&E apparently knows they have a hit hence they didn’t yank the plug on the whole series.
I’ve only seen a couple of episodes myself(not really into “Reality TV” myself) but I would hope the rest of the family would show solidarity with their patriarch.
