It’s really nice to see so many homeowners “sending a message” to the DNC’s voter base. “Not in my home you don’t!” It’s easy to see why the commie ‘RATS are wanting “gun control” so bad. Give only the legally required information to 911 and the investigators.
You tell 911: “A man has been shot in my home.”
You do NOT say: “I just shot a man in my home.”
To the Police, you provide your ID, your contact information, and, usually, your employer and work number.
After that, every answer should be the same: “I would like to speak to an attorney before answering that question.”
Every request by the Police to search or seize evidence should have the same response: “I’d like you to obtain a warrant first.”
Finally, you say nothing to friends or family about what happened.
If you stay calm, alert, and exercise a high level of self-discipline, your chance of being the next George Zimmerman go down almost to zero.

I’m sure the perp thought he was at his house and when his key didn’t work he broke in. He meant no harm and was totally surprised when he was shot in his empty house. He will never get to turn his life around now. Such a sad story. Not.
