Merry Cruz-mas! Ted Cruz Coloring Book an Amazon Best-Seller

A coloring book starring Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is selling like hotcakes on Amazon.

Called "Cruz To The Future," the $5.39 book is the No. 1 best-seller on the company's website in the coloring books category — and even beats "Stars Wars" and "Angry Birds" coloring books.

Published by Really Big Coloring Books, it contains quotes from the tea-party senator as well as details about his life along with drawings of him that kids — or even his older supporters — can color in.

In one sketch, it shows Cruz holding a rifle while wearing a hunting jacket, and the words, "Second Amendment — The Right to Bear Arms" written above his head.

In another sketch, the Republican senator is standing in front of a podium in the Senate delivering his 21-hour speech in an attempt to prevent the disastrous launch of the Affordable Care Act.

"A lot of the career establishment politicians are far too out of shape, old, or overweight to even perform such a magnificent feat," he is quoted as saying about his marathon session. "God bless them all," he adds.

The book, which is part of the coloring book company's series called "Tell the Truth, Tell it Often," also includes the 10 Commandments and the Pledge of Allegiance, along with Cruz's views on them while he also gives his opinion on small business.

"The book is suitable for any student desk in America, as millions of people across the country admire, respect, and portray Mr. Cruz as a positive role model for children," said publisher Wayne Bell, who did not ask for permission from Cruz before writing the book.

That’s... weird. It kind of looks like a joke item, but seems legit. Notice the libturds have gone nuts on the reviews section. haha. Cruz manages to rile them even in colorable form.

I love Cruz but how is it rated at #1 with just a 2 star rating?

Fascinating. “Tea Party coloring book” is #10.

The left writes propaganda for even small children. I’m glad to see these counter efforts.

Personally, I wouldn’t propagandize small children with coloring books. I don’t have any strong condemnation for it, but - I wouldn’t.

I guess, though, that most of the people who are buying these coloring books are doing so because they think it’s cute, or fun. That’s why, if children and not adults were doing the buying, Ted Cruz would not be No. #1 in the coloring book department. Children like Star Wars and Barbie better than pictures of Ted Cruz.

When baby-killers (Democrats) write books, they bomb.

When conservatives write books, they shoot to the top of the best-seller lists.

Remember the huge crowds that came out for Palin, and even for Romney?

There NO question that Obama stole both elections. There’s NO question that Obama isn’t even a citizen.

People are hanging on till 2016. If another baby-killing Communist (i.e., any Democrat) “wins” in 2016, the dissolution of the country will accelerate.

The U.S. government has been illegitimate since January 22, 1973. All that has happened since is that that illegitimacy has been playing out.

Obama reveals that a huge portion of the population is both wicked and stupid. Such a people cannot have self-government—and now they don’t.

Because liberals get on Amazon and write bad reviews about conservative books. Whenever you see only 1 star beware.

Go Ted, GO! Rush has his book out, and it is a great book, Mark Levine has his wonderful books available, as well as a terrific book written by his father, and I admire Ted Cruz for trying to reach children and adults. Stop with the naysaying already, and pick up a copy of Ted's book....support this Conservative who's working for US!

Of course.

I see what you're saying. Little kids really shouldn't even have to think about this stuff. But OTOH the earlier the lessons come, maybe the better. I heard just the other day that Katy Perry's (Obamabot singer) parents were conservative Christian Republicans. She could have used a Ronald Reagan coloring book.

The enemy targets preschoolers with books like "Billy has 2 mommies who ride motorcycles" or whatever it's called.

And I see what you’re saying. Older children could learn from a Ted Cruz coloring book with quotations. Either way, no harm done.

You’re right about leftists targeting very young children. I think it was C. Everett Koop who, as part of his crusade against AIDS, wanted to show presentations to kindergarteners. In school, of course, which is also where little ones hear “Heather Has Two Mommies”. Makes me want to abolish the Department of Education.

The DOE had no business ever existing.

The college loan programs are too popular to ever abolish but they could transfered to another department. Nothing else they do is actually helpful to education.

I agree. The left pushes hard to indoctrinate them early, we need stuff like to counter their propaganda. Everything has an underlying message about modern society and our values. A quick glance at Cruz' coloring book even has a page for "The 10 Commandments", and it's the protestant version, so not everyone is going to agree 100% with the way message is presented, but I'm glad we're at least GETTING the message out there to counter the left's message to kiddies.

And if you want to talk about kids being more into superheroes and comic books... hell, I grew up with Ted Turner getting me to watch THIS when I was a kid. It's amazing ANY of us turned out to be conservative:

Captain Planet, he's our hero,
Gonna take pollution down to zero,
He's our powers magnified,
And he's fighting on the planet side
Captain Planet, he's our hero,
Gonna take pollution down to zero,
Gonna help him put us under,
Bad guys who like to loot and plunder
"You'll pay for this Captain Planet!"
(chanting)
We're the planeteers,
You can be one too!
'Cause saving our planet is the thing to do,
Looting and polluting is not the way,
Hear what Captain Planet has to say:
"The Power is YOURS!"

I watched that horsecrap too (I think I fell in love with Dr. Blight before even the Pink Power Ranger), and it worked. It's funny how I could root for Dr. Blight yet still fall for the "heros" propaganda.

When I was like 10 or so I told a shopkeeper "no thanks I don't need a bag, it's bad for the environment". I shite you not.

I’m all for Rush’s book, etc. Nevertheless, the Marxist baby-killers have 90% of American children seven hours a day, five days a week.
