The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is sending out letters telling gun owners to turn over their rifles and shotguns or else face the consequences.
You have the following options, the letter explains.
1. Immediately surrender your Rifle and/or Shotgun to your local police precinct, and notify this office of the invoice number. The firearm may be sold or permanently removed from the City of New York thereafter...

Good for you.
“Utility bill or other proof of residency regarding the address where the firearm will be stored outside the City of New York.”
Hi, New York. Moved my tax dollars and professional license, along with my shotguns, down to Virginia. Thanks for the decent public school education at the time (though I hear it sucks now.)
I used you, suckas.
I am losing some really good friends and associates.
But, hey, when they were ridiculing me for being tin foil hat type, it was all fun and frivolity.
Now? They, arrogant New Yorkers that they are, CANNOT understand my intransigence.
No big deal, we are toast, like you tag line says.
Sheesh.
“Is this a hoax?”
No, and it has already been posted here. It’s for real. It’s understandable you can’t believe it because every day this country somewhere changes for the worst. Tomorrow, it will another something making us less free, and the day after that, another something, etc..
I’ve said before I concentrating on preparing my own country consisting of my house and back garden, as the only country I can depend on. I am President For Life of my country.
Well nothing has changed recently
At Remagen, Gen. George S. Patton said, “Now I’ve got your bridge, Rommel, you magnificent Heinie! Haw haw haw!”
And next, the new commie mayor will up the ante by outlawing revolvers, double barrel shotguns, and any weapons that uses ANY magazine.
If you can't get the job done with one shot, just hope you have 6 or 8 more one-shot guns with you or that you have time to reload before the perp unloads multiple rounds into you.
The Mafia going to turn in their guns? Jeez, how will they enforce their ‘fees’ to business owners to ‘protect’ them? NY City will be safe because the CRIMINALS will obey and turn in their guns. SURE, I believe that!
Zip gunz are cool.
The bung face they elected won’t even understand a piece of copper water pipe, a good strong rubber band, (in pittsburghese “gumband”) and a shotshell.
And I HOPE you live in interesting times.
Is the NRA doing anything about this?
“I recall what the American commander replied when told to surrender by the Jerry colonel at Remagen.
“Nuts”
Was that after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
Dear State of New York,
Your have the following options:
1. Leave me alone.
2. Prepare to die.

Wait a sec, he move to Detroit from NY? Most sane people would move to a RED STATE, from a Liberal area.
Quicken transferred several hundred people to Detroit. Same with JP Morgan, Ernst & Young and others.
Despite what the no info FReepers think they know, Detroit is becoming increasingly business friendly. In some respects, Detroit is probably one of the freest cities in the country. You can walk down any street in the city with an AR-15 slung across your back and it’s 100% legal.
Can this actually be happening, as it did in Nazi Germany?
NYers LIKE gun confiscation. They love the taste of boot polish, and eventually they'll go willingly to camps - or rather they'll tell themselves they live in "the city" and when it turns into a big camp they'll pat themselves on the back and say who wonderful it is to be without freedom in "the city."
Why should they? NYers want this. They voted for it and now they're going to get it. The hell with them.
I doubt they would give you the chance. One thing they could do is to wait until you are asleep and make a sudden entry. Or they could put you under surveillance and grab you when you go to the store. Whatever they do, it will be on their schedule and terms. The police have 24 hours a day to plan and engage.
claymores get ‘em if you can
