Dr. Bill Grace, founder of Grace Oncology in NYC and an assistant professor of clinical medicine at New York Medical College, told CNBC Monday night that the enrollment problems also are causing significant problems for doctors.
"Right now that back end is in chaos. We don't even know if we should sign up for these plans, because we have a suspicion that many of [them] offer very little reimbursement or offer a loss to the physicians who are going to see these patients," Grace told Larry Kudlow on CNBC's "Kudlow Report".
"No physician wants to take money out of his pocket and put it in the government's."

“Indian Reservations (supposedly sovereign land) need to get into the medical business.”
THAT, my friend, is a singular stroke of unadulterated GENIUS!
If the GOP cannot muster the courage to drive a spike through the skull of Obamacare, we may ALL be looking to “the Sovereign Nations” within our National borders to get decent health care.
I’m glad to hear this, but if there is not a visible protest in this country by docs and nurses very soon, the 2014 election will not be effected sufficiently.
Please get your march on soon. If we can’t take the Senate in 2014, you folks will be facing a future that is instantly dark and desolate.
The docs and healthcare providers better stop scratching their heads and get out and start marching and writing their checks to Ted Cruz.
You’re in the minority. NY is generationally liberal, so your stuck with the generalization.
LOL
Same up here.
I run into people from out of town during Summer when I’m in Carmel or San Francisco.
They are usually in shorts(as am I but, I love it) and complaining mighily about how cold it is.(Whudda I know. I walk around Tahoe in shorts)
I tell em to come back in spring or fall but never in summer or winter.
Carmel avg temp 59/ San Francisco 62
Always carry at least a windbreaker. We have the most awesome micro climates anywhere.
It's for the PEOPLE, you rich, greedy Republican b@$t@rd. Now shut up and empty your pockets.

You think things are chaotic now? Just wait until hundreds, thousands and maybe even tens of thousands of folks start being killed by obamacare towards the end of January when they no longer have medical insurance or medical care from their doctors because obamacare cancelled their insurance and they were unable to obtain comparable insurance or medical care.
I’m talking about chronically ill people who are being kept alive by highly specialized treatments by highly specialized doctors in highly specialized treatment centers. You don’t treat cancer, hemophilia, cystic fibrosis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, childhood genetic diseases, and thousands of other such diseases in the ER.
Those are the people who will truly suffer and die because their existing insurance has been cancelled and they are unable to sign up for new insurance, or unable to afford new insurance, or are offered only policies that no longer include their existing specialized care givers.
Obama and the Democrats are going to have blood on their hands if they persist in trying to implement their totally unworkable legislation when it starts to kill innocent children. We need to show the nation that blood so we can end this horror.
yeah, been at the shoulder thing for two years. Just want the pain to go away so I can go back to working out, hiking, surfing, etc.
Or, or, or....Just tell me this is it and I can look forward to learning how to maneuver around the mechanics of what causes pain and avoid it....Well, minimize it.
Frickin hurts every day.
Blah, Blah...
Could be worse:
I could pregnant and single....Bonus! Being a 50 yr old man would make me famous or a freak...
Wasn’t it Mark Twain that said the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco?
“I drink a lot ;-)”
LOL
Yep...
Where did you get this analogy? Did you write it?
I want to send it around, but I would like to give credit to the author.
I got it in an email and no credit was given for it.
The protest occurs everytime a nurse or doctor talks to anyone, anywhere, about what is happening to the business of medicine AND the results that it is going to have of the delivery of services to patients. I think it a very effective method of protest/education.
Then, look at the practicalities of a mass protest. Do you really want 2-5 million of the Nation's medical professionals on the D.C. Mall or say 250K of a State's medical pool storming a State Capitol? Chaos is what would result - millions of patients would not be serviced during the protest and WHOM would the media and the Administration blame? Why, those evil fatcat medical providers, of course!
And we medical professionals often work ridiculous hours and days. When would we have time to organize, much less attend, a mass protest?
No, FRiend, we are in a position to be MUCH more effective on an individual basis.
Remember, Obama’s mentor said some 25,000,000 would have to die to achieve the Lefitst goal. They never said who or how.
I would have no problem with that.
I would imagine that reimbursement to doctors will be better than Medicare but less than private plans. I’m surprised that the insurers haven’t told the providers and have their networks set up by now.
I believe that obamacare has been the law now for a couple of years....and your protests I’d say have not had the intended effectiveness. If the Government takes over healthcare many many more will suffer than what a few days in a march to D.C. would cause. Of course emergency treatment would not be destaffed but most docs are not treating life threatening illness .....although I can imagine that if all dentist took a week off, well even a hundred thousand folks with a terrible tooth ache would be quite a mouthful of rukus.
I hope we stop it soon.
