BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- A woman charged with killing a fellow Alabama fan after the end of last weekend's Iron Bowl football game was angry that the victim and others didn't seem upset over the Crimson Tide's loss to archrival Auburn, said the sister of the slain woman.

Are you all outta love?
Another lyric:
"They call Alabama the Crimson Tide. Call me < name of song >, < name of song >..."
I’ve told you there’s nothing I can do
I’m not trying to bring you down
Is this really the day of the expanding man? :)
Deacon Blues.
Seriously. I know them all.
I also can play Hava Nagila on the steel guitar ala Dick Durbin, and there is even a picture of me on a surf board playing a guitar when I was in the military.
Saying “dem’s fightin words!” over football might be okay, but saying “dem’s shootin words!” is definitely not.
She’s so lost without you.
Snort!
That goes for 99.9% of all Alabama fans.
I remember sitting in a little diner in rural Alabama and listening to some fat farm hand talking about "we did this" and "we did that" referring to the UA football team. I had to bite my lip to keep from asking him if he was a team member, a current student, an alumnus, or if he even made it all the way through junior high.
It's not even on the same scale as Auburn/Alabama.
Back when Yale was a powerhouse.
The more appropriate word would have been “absurd”, but I have no sense of humor when it comes to the ferals, considering that they are a menace to decent society yet are coddled and “entitled” as if every single one had contributed to a cure for cancer.
Weak attempt at subtle humor mocking the lengths that blacks will go to come up with reasons for shooting blacks. Roll tide. Skin color does not cause idiots to be idiots, although it may sometimes appear that way.
I just don’t get it at all. It is a game. Nothing I say or do is likely to change the outcome. I used to go to some NFL games 20+ years ago. I have teams I support, but nothing about any of it affects my life. It can be entertaining, but nothing I cannot live without.
I live in a state that is full of football fanatics. I like that only because I know the best time to go grocery shopping during football season.
I just cannot get into the sports worship so many seem to embrace. That is fine.
Wow.
I have a 39-year-old son who would have guessed the lyric just as quickly as I did. His knowledge of popular music starting with the mid-1960s is encyclopedic —groups, names of the band members, hits, covers, etc.
I’m just good with lyrics.
Auburn-Alabama is what the Army-Navy game was in the 30s and 40s.
Oh, same here. I remember lyrics — and a whole lot of other useless stuff :)
Too late, I’m down ;-).
