As the Obama administration rolls out some of the more significant provisions of the 2010 healthcare law, the vast majority of Americans, 69%, say the law, so far, has not had an effect on them and their family, similar to what Gallup measured more than a year ago. More Americans say the law has hurt (19%) rather than helped (9%) their family, a slightly larger gap than was found last year.

I do not believe that for a second.
Affected.
The helped are all lies as the law has not seen one person yet.
What about people who have have actually enrolled/signed up? How about them? How’s that website coming along? I don’t care about the perceptions of how the law effects them, I want to know actual facts.
I would say that businesses laying off or reducing hours for workers across all business sectors is A PRETTY BIG DEAL!
What an economy-killer this monster is! And it’s JUST getting rolling!
Bravo Sierra.
This doesn't mean that the Republicans are going to win.
This just means that Boner and McClunkhead will find some way to shift the blame to themsevles.
“I dont care about the perceptions of how the law effects them, I want to know actual facts.”
Settle down, Serf! You’ll get all the FACTS you NEED at the Re-education Camp. And you’ll LIKE it!
;)
Wait until the EMPLOYER mandate kicks in....
Relatively few people (20%) think ObamaCare will help them . . .

But far more (34%) think ObamaCare will help others more than it hurts. The left is losing even on this message, but it's the strongest point for preserving Obamacare:

The answer is to keep getting the word out that not only is ObamaCare hurting ordinary people, but it is hurting far more of them than it is helping. That way low-information voters will not feel pressured to support ObamaCare to prove they are not "selfish" for opposing it just because it hurts them individually. We need to stay on message - individual instances of ordinary people being hurt, with the larger point that they are representative, not exceptions.
People get laid off and blame the business instead of Obamacare and this president. So many uninterested and uninformed.

It isn’t possible. EVERYONE’s health insurance went up (mine $500/yr) and companies were very explicit to state the costs went up and in some cases coverage lowered specifically due to obozocare.
I have just received notification from my Comrades that the Gallup data is skewed, it is more like 99% are unaffected by this law. Forward Comrades!
Everyone is affected even if they either don’t realize it or refuse to admit it.
In our case the employer is using Obamacare to justify a rate increase for employees which is very token versus their contribution but eats up entire raises of employees, such as those are.
They have only gone after individuals so far which is 15% if the market, so those who get insurance through employers (that 69%) don’t get hit till next year.
Idiots.
“I do not believe that for a second. “
It’s probably true because most Americans get their insurance via their employer and those plans don’t get cancelled for another year.
In addition, nothing really changes until after 12/31/2014, when all the old health care networks evaporate and the vastly inferior exchange plans and health care networks kick in.
We get group insurance through my wife’s employment, and the effects of Obamacare started kicking in several years ago when the insurance company started upgrading their policy to meet the mandates. Premiums have risen sharply, as have deductibles and copays, while limits have been set on what the insurance company will pay. We honestly can’t afford to get sick anymore. I expect this policy to end within a year, and we will be forced into an even more expensive policy that covers even less in cases of catastrophic illness. Obamacare isn’t about providing affordable insurance or healthcare, quite the opposite. It is about squeezing the lifeblood out of middle income families to redistribute it to Democrat fascists.
Madness. A pox on all democrats everywhere.
