Trace Adkins - You're Gonna Miss This
She was starin' out the window of their SUV Complainin', sayin', I can't wait to turn eighteen She said, I'll make my own money and I'll make my own rules Momma, put the car in park out there in front of the school And she kissed her head, and said, I was just like you
You're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days Hadn't gone by so fast
These are some good times So take a good look around You may not know it now But you're gonna miss this
Before she knows it she's a brand new bride In her one bedroom apartment and her daddy stops by He tells her it's a nice place, she says, It'll do for now Starts talkin' about babies and buyin' a house Daddy shakes his head and says, Baby, just slow down
Cuz' you're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days Hadn't gone by so fast
These are some good times So take a good look around You may not know it now But you're gonna miss this
Five years later there's a plumber Workin' on the water heater Dog's barkin', phone's ringin' One kid's cryin' and one kid's screamin' And she keeps apologizin'
He says, They don't bother me I've got two babies of my own One's thirty-six, one's twenty-three Huh, it's hard to believe
But you're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days Hadn't gone by so fast
These are some good times So take a good look around You may not know it now But you're gonna miss this
You're gonna miss this Yeah, you're gonna miss this

Teach Your Children - Crosby Stills & Nash
You, who are on the road must have a code that you can live by. And so become yourself because the past is just a good bye. Teach your children well, their father's hell did slowly go by, And feed them on your dreams, the one they fix, the one you'll know by. Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry, So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.
And you, of the tender years can't know the fears that your elders grew by, And so please help them with your youth, they seek the truth before they can die. Teach your parents well, their children's hell will slowly go by, And feed them on your dreams, the one they fix,the one you'll know by. Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry, So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.

The Carter Family & Cash ~ Will The Circle Be Unbroken In this performance, they sing, "will the circle be unbroken?" The song was originally "Can the Circle Be Unbroken?" when it was first recorded by the Carter Family in 1935. They had a hit with it in the summer of that year. You can listen to the original version here.
"Will the Circle Be Unbroken?" is a hymn from 1907 with words by Ada Habershon and music by the great Methodist hymn writer Charles H. Gabriel. If there were a decent recording of it on Youtube, I would supply a link.
The two songs are often confused.

Hi, AZ (Kathy).
How was Thanksgiving?
How about “The Addams Family” theme song? Story of my life, actually.
