yep and those with knowledge one by one are starting to accept it too...

That said this opens up the conversation onto what it’s actually made of....lol

That baby does not appear to be dead. It looks like it is trying to get back to the same brightness as it had entering the Sun's orbit.

I posted this on the thread going on....but it is the most interesting part of toay.

This is the most interesting part of this....SDO did not see the comet as it went through it perihelion...

It emerged and is doing okay....now the question is this; The SDO imaging is based on capturing and recognizing oxygen reactions. So if ISON is made of ice why did it not see it?

That is the question of the day if indeed the latest images confirm ISON survived.

If the SOHO images are not correct then I’m an idiot for looking at them as a basis for my optimism.

Yep the SOHO is fine...it’s just had a moment or two of diminished light factors...I would think given all the evidence the comet never died...we just could not detect it.

From Spaceweather.com:

CANCEL THE EULOGY ... FOR NOW: Comet ISON flew through the sun's atmosphere on Nov. 28th and the encounter did not go well for the icy comet. Just before perihelion (closest approach to the sun) the comet rapidly faded and appeared to disintegrate. This prompted reports of ISON's demise. However, a fraction of the comet might have survived.

We have to pay attention now....the thinking on the street of knowledge is this comet is not made of ice....most likely solid rock maybe even Iron ORe.

Nah they got it all wrong...if this was ICE indeed SDO would have captured it. The only reason they announced it died or was vaporized was because the SDO did not capture it...

It did not only because it couldn’t .....lol

I have always thought these babies were more likely to be rock than ice.

On this european space agency photo that takes pictures on a different premise not brightness...

You can clearly see the comet is beyond healthy!!!!!!

Guess you could have a heavily ice covered (not necessarily water ice) solid rock/iron/metal asteroid playing like a comet.

Didn't come from where comets normally originate from anyway.
