PPP: US Senate IL: Dick Durbin (D) 51% - Jim Oberweis (R) 36%
Wouldn’t you think that someone who survived a stroke and claimed to see angels and claimed his faith had been strengthened from the ordeal would turn from his “wicked ways” and support traditional family values instead of supporting those policies and causes which are so anti-God.

Jan 3, 2013 ... ON CAPITOL HILL. Sen. Mark Kirk ‘saw angels’ following stroke. Defining moment deepened faith in God. Published: 01/03/2013 at 11:14 AM.
I was assured by party leaders that Mark Kirk was going to remain silent on social issues. So much for promises. So much for Mark Kirk.
Nice stereotype, jackwagon. Not everyone in Illinois is a liberal democrat or RINO. Especially outside of Chicago and C(r)ook county.
Cut out Chicago and Cook County, Illinois' actually quite a RED state. But idiots like you prefer to lump everyone in together, so I bet everyone in your state is as illiterate of a jerk as you are.
“combine scumbag Dillard.”
Explain.
let's just face reality: as long as Chicago and East St. Louis are part of Illinois, your and my votes on statewide candidates just don't matter.
We're far better off affecting races at the local (County, Township, Municipality) level and keeping that cesspool called Chicago from infesting the rest of the state.
Color me shocked he's not down below 30%. But then again, the idiot Republican's in this state do have a way of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.
2.5 years for me to go here, then I'm getting the hell outta here. (That's when youngest son graduates high school.)
That needs to be on a bumper sticker.
“Nice stereotype, jackwagon.”
I used no stereotype, a-hole. This is a stereotype: All people from Illinois are too stupid to know what a stereotype is. See the difference? I merely said the people of Illinois deserve what ever happens to them.
“Not everyone in Illinois is a liberal democrat or RINO. Especially outside of Chicago and C(r)ook county.”
I never said they were.
“But idiots like you prefer to lump everyone in together, so I bet everyone in your state is as illiterate of a jerk as you are.”
The fact that I can tell what is and isn’t a stereotype would seem to indicate the illiteracy is in your court, a-hole. The best part is not only am I literate but I’ll sleep soundly knowing I’ll wake up in a Republican controlled state which will still be Republican controlled two or three election cycles from now. Enjoy Illinois if that’s where your at, sad sack.
Now go play in traffic and get off mommy's computer. Dickwad.
The combine is the corrupt establishment of both parties that works in concert to screw us all over.
He’s not a liberal like Rauner but despite his denials, he is a combiner. He appeared in an Obama ad that aired before the 2008 Iowa caucuses.

We don’t have great options, Brady, even though the race was stolen last time, still did a lot worse than he should have, I question if he can win. And I don’t exactly trust Rutherford. But I will back whichever of them is best positioned to win the primary. Rauner and Dillard are unacceptable.
In the Senate race I’m hoping Traux works out, Uberloser and Koppie are non-starters to me.
The GOP should run a conservative latino from Chicago.
Thanks for the heads up on Mark Kirk.
I know almost nothing about the guy.
I assumed he would be squishy on Amnesty since 1 million Hispanics vote in Cook County.
He had a severe stroke almost 2 years ago, and I don’t think I’ve heard a word about him since then.
Those poll results are better than I expected. I’ll probably vote for Rutherford, and he did the best, against Quinn.
The matchup between Koppie & Durbin is closer than between Truax & Durbin.
I don’t like your idea of a new state, since I live in Lake Co.
Which conservative should run against Sen. Kirk, in the 2016 primary? I hope that Congressman Roskam will run and that State Sen. Murphy and ex-State Sen. Pankau will run in the primary to replace Roskam.
Perhaps the western (less Democrat) portion of Lake County, IL could separate from Lake County prior to the creation of the new state, thus staying in the new Republican Illinois. Certainly Republican western Racine and Kenosha Counties, and Republican parts of SW and NE Mileaukee County, should stay in Wisconsin, and Republican southern Lake County, IN should stay in Indiana; heck, there are quite a few Cook County suburbs that could separate from Cook County and stay in IL.
But if your home lies within the borders of the new State of Chicawaukee, I think that you should support the creation of that new state and then move a couple of miles into Illinois. Just imagine the positive effect on the Electoral College and the U.S. Senate!
“GFYS Jackwagon. You knew what you were doing when you drew the inference “the people of Illinois get what they deserve.””
I absolutely did, a-hole. This is exactly what I was thinking about when I wrote it too: “Every nation gets the government it deserves.” (Joseph de Maistre, 1811)
“Now go play in traffic and get off mommy’s computer. Dickwad.”
Hey, a-hole, remember, you’re stuck with Dick for six more years. Suck on that. I’m sure your mom can show you how.
“I dont exactly trust Rutherford.”
Rutherford’s last vote in the IL Senate was “YES” to civil unions. Look where that lead. He is not acceptable.
i have no sympathy for dold. he totally abandoned the conservatives who got him elected.
