U.S. Marine predicted own brutal murder by 'ally'

‘You don’t understand how bad it is here’

The Marine told his father about training the Afghan police and described their chief as “a bad guy.”

“They’re going to kill me here,” the son told his father. “They’re going to murder me inside my facility. These people are bad people, Dad.”

“You people don’t understand how bad it is here,” he explained. “They don’t care about us. They don’t want us here. They said it to me. But we have to do what we’re told to do because we’re Marines.”

Buckley Jr. described how he how he wasn’t scared about fighting; he was scared about being murdered at night while he was sleeping.

“They’re not normal people, and we shouldn’t be here. We’re serving no purpose. We’re being lied to. They’re telling us one thing and it’s a whole other agenda. They have their reasons for us to be there. And as soon as we stand up and say something, they make us disappear,” the son confided to his father.

Deadly premonition

A few weeks later, the Buckley family received a goodbye letter from the Marine.

He thanked his parents for everything they’d done for him and told his two younger brothers to grow up to be great young men and always to do the right thing.

A few days later, the Marine was dead.

If I posted who I really feel is to blame for this along with a bunch of other things, I’d probably be flagged in an NSA database somewhere for visitation later.

When the US Marines (and other US military) are done killing the enemy and breaking things, send them home.

If the UN has any reason to exist, they should be the ones nation building and educating.

which was ???

After Rome defeated Carthage at the end of the Third Punic War in 146 BC, The Romans pulled all Carthaginian and Phoenician warships out into the harbor and burned them before the city and went from house to house, capturing and enslaving the people. Fifty thousand Carthaginians were sold into slavery. The city was set ablaze and leveled to the ground, leaving only ruins and rubble.

The Romans then salted the earth and left it that way.

It’s foolish to think we can change a blood thirsty cult that passionately hates Christians, Jews, America, our allies, etc. Let’s GTFO.

These people are not our allies and to be truthful, anybody who would be an ally with the Obama regime is crazy.

Why anyone would want to be an ally of the Afghans is even more puzzling. But that's just me; I certainly would not want to speak for you.

I don’t give a crap about democratizing or stabilizing Islamic hellholes, and I could care less about which group of Islamic tyrants kills the other groups. Islam is evil to the core. There is nothing about Islam that is worth salvaging, and nothing about Afghanistan that is worth dying for.

Obama has been negotiating with the Taliban because he figures if he keeps them busy terrorizing their own country they won’t be exporting terrorism.

But because Obama hates the US military he sees he can kill three birds with one stone:

1)give Afghanistan to the Taliban (thus furthering the “Muslim agenda” of worldwide sharia - which Obama told the Egyptian ambassador privately in Jan of 2010 that he supported and would actively work on once Obamacare was passed),

2) get rid of any allies we have there by letting them know that we’ll be abandoning them to the Taliban soon and any help they gave us will be a death sentence for them and their loved ones then, and

3) kill off patriotic US soldiers by forcing them to be there with no way of protecting themselves. This pushes the other plank in the agenda that all sects of Islam agree on - and that Obama said he supports: the destruction of “the great Satan” and “the little Satan” - US and Israel.

As I mentioned in my previous post, the leader of the Egyptian military intends to prove in Morsi’s trial that Morsi committed treason against Egypt (and Obama committed an act of war against Egypt) by making an agreement with the Obama regime to transfer the terrorists from Afghanistan to the part of Egypt close to Israel so they can wage jihad against Israel from there. The tribal agreement that you mentioned is Obama and his terrorist buddies waging war against “the little Satan”, Israel, since the Muslim agenda of a sharia government (Taliban) will already be accomplished in Afghanistan once the Americans leave.

Let’s not kid ourselves. W started this.
Yes, and his daddy with desert storm back in 1991. When that mess started I knew it would be unending bad news and our young people dying for a tribe of primitive sub humans who haven't advanced past pottery. The entire population of the middle east save Israel is not worth one drop of American blood, never has been. A pox on all of them, neocons and commies.

The use of the juvenile practice of cursing aside, we should get out NOW! The people in that country are not worth making our citizens sitting ducks.

I believe there are some freedom-loving Muslims. Cultural Muslims who don’t really read the Quran. We worked together with those people in Iraq in the Anbar Awakening and in years past worked with them in Afghanistan as well. In Egypt and some other Middle East countries, the people have seen that Obama doesn’t side with Muslims - only with TERRORIST Muslims - and they protested him, especially in Egypt. They get it. They see what Morsi is and see that Morsi is Obama’s kind of Muslim. Look at everything Obama has done and you will see him side with the TERRORIST Muslims, not the Muslims who want to live in peace.

It takes an extreme amount of courage for peace-loving Muslims to oppose the Muslim terrorists, and if they step out to ally themselves with us and then we leave, they know that they and their children will be brutalized, beheaded, and put on display as an example to everyone else. We had allies in Afghanistan. The minute we conveyed that we were not willing to stick with them and protect them from the murderous thugs who live among them, we lost every sane ally we ever had.

I don’t know if Afghanistan can ever be won for freedom and life, but I for sure know it can’t be won by somebody who sides with the terrorists, and that’s what we’ve got since Obama usurped the White House.

I believe you're kidding yourself. Everyone in Afghanistan is either a terrorist, an opium producer, or a crook - often all three at once. Bush thought he could build a civilized democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan and he was wrong. Obama thought he could do the same, and he was wrong. We have wasted billions of dollars and thousands of dollars, and for what? The only sane course at this time is to get out completely.

Am leaving in the AM for Parris Island, my only grandson graduates Wed.

While I didn't vocally oppose his enlistment, I sure didn't encourage it.

It seems he has done well, was an Eagle Scout, and had two years of NJROTC in HS.

He scored second in rifle for the whole 'batch of newbies', missed first by one point. I guess all that time with Grandpa in the back 40 paid off.

He's a fine young man, but I sure don't have a good feeling about his future, not what I was hoping for.

THE YOUNG BRITISH SOLDIER

When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains
An’ go to your Gawd like a soldier.
Go, go, go like a soldier,
Go, go, go like a soldier,
Go, go, go like a soldier,
So-oldier ~of~ the Queen!

Rudyard Kipling

Nothing has changed for a thousand years in that Hell Hole.

We shouldn’t be training our enemies. We should have killed every person on the highway to Tora Bora when they were fleeing, mined every mountain pass, burned every poppy field and used drones to kill and leaders that tried to reassemble. obama has killed more men in Afghanistan with his inept lack of leadership and his hate of the American Military man.

Don’t look for me to argue with your sound logic... I would have quietly dispatched enemy combatants after they were no longer useful.

The only way to defeat these people is to nuke them off the face of the earth.
..............
Disagree on this point.

There is another way.

The other way is to collapse the price of oil.

I believe that we are on the way to doing that. But the strategic policy is not coming from the US government but rather from the american culture itself.

By increasing the supply of oil and decreasing the demand for oil—the USA will slowly strangle the price of oil and the economies that depend on oil—like the gulf states and russia. Its a slow deal. Its going to happen.

On the supply side the USA for each of the last three years has increased oil production by 1 million barrels@ day. The USA is now producing 3 million barrels@ day more than it did three years ago. As well, the USA is on track to produce an extra 1 million barrels @ day for each of the next two years. Citi bank analysts believe that 6 years from now, the USA will be producing 5 million barrels a day more than it is now. Or roughly 12 million barrels @ day. This will make the USA oil independent. And also pressure the price of oil downward.

On the demand side American trucks are buses are rapidly shifting over to natural gas to take advantage of lower natural gas prices. Fully 40 percent of the demand for oil in the USA comes from trucks and buses. Natural gas now costs fully 1/3 less than diesel. This is a huge incentive for trucking companies and buses to switch over—and take off demand for oil.

More slowly rising fuel economy is lowering demand. Rising fuel economy and rising for demand for natural gas as a fuel substitute for trucks and buses —has caused demand for oil to actually fall in the last couple years.

Longer term —10 years out — electric cars will play an increasing role in the economy. Tesla is forcing the major car companies to invest further in electric cars—not just because of what Tesla has done but also because of what Tesla plans to do. Tesla plans to change the world. We won’t know how fast that will happen until 2016. If Tesla that year can come out with a 30k car that can do at least 200 miles on a charge —then it won’t be more than five years after that before electric cars start to pull significant market share from internal combustion based cars. We’re still only talking 1-2% nationwide. But after that the proportion of internal combustion cars on the road will steadily slide. Shell oil expects worldwide demand for oil to peak in 2030 and fall by 2040.

This will collapse the price of oil. Why?

Oil is priced at the margin.

Five years from now oil will be in the 50-60 dollar@ barrel range. 10 years from now oil will be in the 30-40 dollar @ barrel range. even at 50-60 dollars @ barrel the moslems won’t have extra money for terrorists and other stuff they consider fun.
