Why anyone would want to be an ally of the Afghans is even more puzzling. But that's just me; I certainly would not want to speak for you.
I believe there are some freedom-loving Muslims. Cultural Muslims who don’t really read the Quran. We worked together with those people in Iraq in the Anbar Awakening and in years past worked with them in Afghanistan as well. In Egypt and some other Middle East countries, the people have seen that Obama doesn’t side with Muslims - only with TERRORIST Muslims - and they protested him, especially in Egypt. They get it. They see what Morsi is and see that Morsi is Obama’s kind of Muslim. Look at everything Obama has done and you will see him side with the TERRORIST Muslims, not the Muslims who want to live in peace.
It takes an extreme amount of courage for peace-loving Muslims to oppose the Muslim terrorists, and if they step out to ally themselves with us and then we leave, they know that they and their children will be brutalized, beheaded, and put on display as an example to everyone else. We had allies in Afghanistan. The minute we conveyed that we were not willing to stick with them and protect them from the murderous thugs who live among them, we lost every sane ally we ever had.
I don’t know if Afghanistan can ever be won for freedom and life, but I for sure know it can’t be won by somebody who sides with the terrorists, and that’s what we’ve got since Obama usurped the White House.
They say you can not buy an Afghan’s loyalty. You can only rent it, at a high price, only so long as it is in the Afghan’s interest.
