President Barack Obama opened a day of tributes to former President John F. Kennedy on Wednesday by bestowing the Presidential Medal of Freedom on prominent Americans, 50 years after Kennedy was assassinated weeks short of the medal’s first award ceremony.

Well, Obama got a Nobel peace prize for doing absolutely nothing, turning the award into a meaningless piece of crap. So why shouldn't Clinton, Oprah, and Gloria Steinhem get a Presidential Medal of Freedom from Obama? It actually seems quite fitting. A president who hates our country and despises everything it stands for gives his Presidential Medal of faux freedom to his fellow travelers.

Yes one of the awardees was cited for “gay, lesbian, and transgender” civil rights work. If I were Loretta Lynn's manager I would have told her not to attend.

Was this Oprah’s reward for calling the USA racist while she was overseas ..??
I used to give her the benefit of the doubt, because I was aware of a terrible childhood.
