Too many of those questions don’t apply to me on a regular basis. My roles change depending on whether I’m hosting or visiting family for the day.

If I’m hosting, I cook turkey with all the fixings and do a good job, but I don’t relish it. I’d honestly just rather sit around with family, eat snacks, throw burgers on the grill, drink beer, and watch football.

If I’m visiting, I make a side dish or help the host with the cooking/table setting/clean up.

I definitely do not like to make pies.

Good evening, Connie...*HUGS*...thank you for the tributes to our troops.

Did you have a good commute? Any sighting of coyotes?

Got your coat? It’s 5 degrees here. It was zero at noon...ran my car for a bit. Will do it again before I can go home.

You Are Kermit
Like everything else in your life, you take Thanksgiving pretty seriously.
It's a time for reflection and gratitude. You also like to just sit back and observe the party.

You love Thanksgiving, but having a huge amount of people around can be a bit overwhelming.
As long as you're allowed some privacy and independence, you'll have a good Turkey Day.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING Y'ALL!

I slept in this morning - got up at 0700 - out of the house at 0800. The morning commute was an hour and a half, as I knew it would be, but I needed the sleep.

This evening was an ordeal as well. I was able to mitigate damages by altering my route a couple of times, but it was still an hour and a half to home.

We're still above freezing, despite the prognostications of the weather people. We were at a high of 48 today - presently 33 - will probably drop into the high 20's.

A most important day today - Gettysburg Address at 150.

America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi!

Eagles Up! Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
