Now we got a warning. Winds picking up, but I’ve dealt with worse, just dodging the Dexter one (golfball hail then. Literally)

Heartbreaking photos. Those storms can do massive damage in seconds.

Have to chuckle at the Libs who think they can throw money at the global warming proposals and control the weather.

I’m in Warren, PA... had been planning on a 25 hour drive to the Rockies in Colorado leaving today. I was actually thinking to swing down through Peoria and stop off where I used to work in Galesburg, Illinois... but I pushed back my departure a day... it’s looking like its a good thing I did.

Thank God for local weather forecasters this morning predicting this storm of the century.

I was able to bring in my flag post from the front of my house and batten down stuff.

It's now 5:55 p.m and we here in Macomb Twp. are right in the middle of the storm and getting slammed!

I just risked my life and stepped outside, it's pouring rain and winds while steady at about 20 mph., seem to be occasionally gusting to 25 mph.............

Please pray for me and my neighbors........thank you!

I don't know if my house will be able to sustain this devastation, if you don't hear from me again, please contact FEMA and send help..........good bye my friends!

Had some 50+ mph winds here. We were lucky. Prayers up for the folks in that part of the state.

Instead of being sarcastic about the forecast, maybe instead you could count your blessings that this did not hit you like it hit others today:

Thanks for the heads up, that would be better served on another thread.............

But I digress, the predicted storm of the century never occured in my neck of the woods........

DID ANY BODY HEAR TOM SKILLING DO THIS BESIDES ME
Did anybody catch the WGN radio TV weatherman Tom Skilling rant against deniers during his report of the shutdownn of Soldier Field during the Bears footballgame this afernoon over WGN radio around 2pm today?

He repudiated deniers by insisting they were composed of non scientific people led by an architect and 85% of them were involved in fields not related to meteorologic sciences. Weren’t these the very people defending and espousing globull warming at the UN. Doesn’t he have this backward ?

I wish I’d record or tape some of these clowns when they go about outright lying and then post it here in FR’s

When a jerk like this spouts out support for globull warming it costs US money.

44,000+ in Ohio now, and the big stuff hasn't hit Cleveland/Akron yet. It's going to be a busy night in the area tonight.

We got lots of rain but not what I would call a storm. Lake Michigan really knocks the power out of most storms.

Its far more windy now.

The old Civil Defense food storage Quonset huts south of Lafayette survived the 3rd(4th?) direct hit that I can remember in the last 30+ years, with just a blown-out door.

Man, did they ever build those things tough.
