Charles Krauthammer joined Megyn Kelly Thursday night to react to President Obama‘s big Obamacare announcement/press conference, and as far as Krauthammer was concerned, Obama got out front and center on this in order to prevent “open rebellion” from within the panicked Democratic party, especially with the threat of abandonment a day away.
Krauthammer described this as the “usual lawlessness” one has come to expect from the Obama administration on big issues, but said the real reason for the press conference was not to fix the law, but to save Obama’s immediate political future.

Me too. Obama doesn't give a sh!t about the "folks" being hurt by his law. He only cares about how the backlash is affecting him and his cronies.

I’m more inclined to think there’s going to be a RAT Revolt anyhow, but his presser today was about making sure who got credit for trying to stop it - i.e. Obama, not Landrieu or anyone else.
As a narcissist, this failure and erosion of his image has to be eating Obama up. He may not show it publicly but we know how thin-skinned he is.

I only heard part of Kraut live, and after listening to the clip in full I have no quarrel with his opinion.
We’ll see - if Mary Landrieu doesn’t proceed with her bill, then Obama will have calmed the insurrection.
But Obamacare is flawed in so many ways, new pains and new lies will keep coming up, and those at-risk Democrats will not be placated by the mumbo-jumbo Obama spewed today that everyone knows isn’t going to change anything.
Now that you mention it, I notice the cockles of my heart are a bit warmer :-)
Today is the first day of Obama’s political death spiral...and a very great setback for the liberal/socialist/demonazi agenda.
