A pair of immigrant teenagers confronted Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) at a Capitol Hill diner on Wednesday morning, telling him their parents were in danger of deportation because of the House’s inaction on immigration reform.
Boehner was eating breakfast at Pete’s Diner — his regular morning pit stop — when Carmen Lima, 13, and Jennifer Martinez, 16, approached him with a video camera in tow.
After Lima shared her story and asked the Speaker to commit to immigration reform, Boehner told her, “I’m trying to find a way to get this thing done. It’s, as you know, not easy. It’s not going to be an easy path forward, but I’ve made it clear since the day after the election that it’s time to get this done.”

Why weren’t they immediately arrested and deported?
If that happened a few times, they might not be so brazen.

I wonder how much ACORN, Soros, etc., paid those kids to do that. They fear their parents might get deported? What year do they think this is, 2007 or prior?

BUT she left out that Daddy's still voting in several US elections, is riding the US gravy train, and collecting US GOVT checks for:
UI, SSI, Workmen's Comp,
TANF (temporary assistance to needy families),
WICS (food assistance),
subsidized Section 8 shelter,
ObamaPhone subsidies,
Utility Assistance subsidies,
School breakfasts/lunches/snacks subsidies,
$5000 a year EITC checks per identity,
monthly "asylum" checks from SS ....
All of that collected under several identities.
Plus he's back in his homeland w/ a nice cash bundle---after stiffing a US bank for a fraudulent sub-prime mtge.

I would have stopped eating and pulled out a pen and paper.
“I’m sorry. What are your names? And the names of your parents? Where do you all live? When did they sneak into the country? Who are they working for now? Thank you. We will be in touch on what we are going to do about this.”
In other words, he is for giving the dimocrats another 20 odd million voters. Good man says the dims. Just what we need.
What GOP needs to say is they don’t want to rush immigration and end up with a bad bill like Obamacare.
They should then say they have enough on their plates trying to protect Americans from Obamacare.
Her father returned to a country in which he is a citizen. Big deal.

Interesting. The Hill is mostly a leftist site, but virtually none of the comments favor “immigration reform.”
I imagine Boehner put them up to this himself.
Why not just tell them that he is sorry but they are breaking the law?

He should have asked them to join him for breakfast and then called ICE while they were chowing down.
