New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez would make a great 2016 Republican presidential ticket, longtime Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, told reporters Wednesday.
The endorsement of Martinez as a vice presidential nominee with Christie came after Martinez joined the New Jersey governor this week to help him campaign into the homestretch of his successful gubernatorial re-election bid.
Lets face it: Susana Martinez has a lot of qualities that would help a lot of people to understand that the Republican Party is a broad base party, Hatch said.

My family has been in Utah for 168 years and I will be damned if I can understand why people vote for this turkey.
Crispy will get Romney’d and Martinez will get Palin’d. I don’t need to see a rerun of that movie.

Not me...more like turds in a punch bowl....
And in the final result, NJ will vote Rat and NM will vote Rat.
In 2012, Ryan didn’t pull in WI and Romney didn’t pull in NH, NV, MA, MI or PA like we were told was going to happen.
Is Martinez a Natural Born Citizen?
Didn’t Geraldine Ferraro point out Obama’s “qualities” and get slammed for it as racist?
Does this mean I get to call Hatch a racist?
I simply don’t understand why Mark Levin supported Hatch’s reelection. Even when Mark explained it (Hatch was apparently a solid conservative at one time), it still didn’t make sense.
How many times do we have to go through this process? How many times do we have to reelect senators who play conservative at election time but go squishy on us for six long years afterwards? When do we learn?
BTW, did you see the articles where Senator Graham is now fighting for a ban on late term abortions? Why, the man is a genuine, conservative stalwart!!! LOL! Sadly, I think he’s going to be very, very hard to beat, because the squishes have this process (of running to the right at election time) down pat.
Maybe for thee but not for me.
Token female. Check.
Token Hispanic. Check.
RINO checklist complete - let's nominate her!
The gibsmedats are NOT going to be impressed. Better to run plain-spoken candidates who loudly advocate defunding of the professional indolent - that might get many absentee conservatives interested in voting, again.
Of New Mexico, no. Of Texas and the US, yes. The libs tried to use her being Texas born and raised in El Paso against her during her 2010 campaign (of course overlooked was the hypocrisy when then Governor Richardson was "Hispanic" because his mother was Mexican and he was born in Pasadena, CA and raised in Mexico City and Massachusetts). Both of her parents were US citizens by birth in El Paso.
This is ‘McCain/Palin’ only fatter. I want to see Palin/Cruz! The pubs gotta have a female presidential candidate in order to COMBAT HILLARY’S ‘WAR ON WOMEN’ ONSLAUGHT THAT’S COMING!
Ilike the bottom half of it, but not Fatso.
Pop quiz:
If nominated in 2016, Chris Christie will be another:
a) Bob Dole
b) John McCain
c) Mitt Romney
D) All of the above
STFU and resign Booby Hatch.
I think...
D) Sum of the above
...comes closer to the reality (something like 200 + 220 + 180 = 600)
I think both of them are just great, right where they're at.
We need to clean house with the Marxists in Washington. I love the fight in Ted Cruz. He may be better suited for Senate Majority leader.
I think Scott Walker with proven administrative experience would be a good choice.
I'd love it if Texas and Utah could come up with strong Cruz and Lee type candidates to challenge old-school/dim lite/GOPelitists Hatch and Cornyn.
That's very true.
