In true Marxist form, the ludicrously named "Affordable Care Act" mounts an all-out attack on marriage. In 2010 the Heritage Foundation pointed out under the bill couples would face massive financial penalties if they marry or remain married. Conversely, couples who cohabit without marriage are given highly preferential financial treatment. If the Senate bill becomes law, saying 'I do' would cost some couples over $10,000 per year.

Their number one target is the institution of the family. They HATE traditional families, and they probably can’t even explain why. The family is a reflection of the nature of the One they truly hate.
They hate traditional families because families are not dependent on the State. Thus, not likely to vote for The Party. Single mothers will do as they are told politically to be supported on the collective farm.
Is LGBT aware of this? Now O” is attacking them for wanting to be married.

Being an “old fashioned wife/mom in a traditional family” I had to look up LGBT (silly me, huh?) And no...I’m sure they are NOT aware of this or they’d be marching in the streets.

Their policies destroy the family. That’s true. Yet, the left stands ready to cram homosexual marriage and adoption, i.e. nontraditional families, down society’s throat, and they’re ready to ostracize anyone who doesn’t agree, for whatever reason, that such nontraditional “families” are perfectly normal, natural, and good for society.
So I’m sure most leftists would completely disagree with your statement. They’d claim to love families, but there’s a huge disconnect between the real world results of the public policies they propose and their claims.

The demand for marriage equality never was the expression of a sincere longing to be included in normal society. It was a political feint, an attack against society by destroying its underpinnings; destroy marriage, destroy the culture.
