I spoke to a few yesterday. They were whining, “do I have to vote?” and “I don’t like either of them” all that blather. And of course, they didn’t go. These are white, female, Christian, able-bodied people that whine about the way things are, but can’t take the time to actually exercise their right to vote. People like that are the reason Virginia and America is lost for good.

After the way Cuccinelli fought against Obama-care, he should be a political rock star in this state. But jealousy keeps us from uniting behind our strongest leaders.

The gates of Hell will swing wide to receive the abortion-crazed single women who voted for McAuliffe last night...

It pisses me off to no end that GOP voters alone could've carried this election but at least 40% of them once again chose to sit on their asses.

Not in my precinct and county (both conservative). It was the biggest turnout I have seen in any election.

Is this why we lost?

There are numerous reasons why we lost...limp-wristed radio hosts (excepting Levin), Republican voters who sat home, no financial or ground support from the GOP, 'libertarian' backed by the Democrats, single women focused on their 'right to an abortion', GOPe working to support the dem candidate, the failure of the Republican candidate to attack both McAuliffe AND Sarvis, voter fraud...am I missing anything?

Better address these points BEFORE 2014 campaigns get underway.

They are a generation of GOD hating, tattooed feminazi baby murderers and sluts... not all... just most. I see them every day. I have friends that have daughters and they have to limit who their daughters hang around with and they have to reeducate them daily from their public school indoctrination. Virginia will burn in hell for this treason... not the good people who did the right thing but those that voted for evil or voted for the liberaltarian or didn’t vote at all. Might I suggest Sunblock 20,000 for those so condemned.

Our side hasn’t wanted Victory in a long time. They like losing more than winning.

In all of the fingerpointing, I’ve not heard one person lay any of the blame on McDonnell. He really screwed any chance of a Republican/conservative winning, didn’t he?

I think he poisoned the pot many months ago. I always thought he was creepy. And, I think Christy is the most arrogant gas bag I’ve ever seen in politics - even more than our Dictator.

Chris Christy is someone I will NEVER EVER vote for.

>The GOP has 67 seats. Unchanged.<

District 19 has been the home of Lacey Putney, who has caucused with the GOP for years, while running as an independent. With Terry Austin’s election, the district is now officially Republican.

Lacey Putney was originally a conservative democrat. He’s the living embodiment of a good man whose party truly left him, decades ago.

>Does anyone know how many Republicans’ sat this one out? How many registered Republicans did NOT vote in Virginia yesterday?<

I would lay money that there were moderate to liberal individuals who would have come out for a candidate like Bolling, while stubbornly refusing to come vote for Ken.

The same type voter who flocked to vote for Marshall Coleman, the spoiler John Warner backed to keep Ollie North out of the Senate in 1994.

Yeah I’ve noticed that the primary season FR election experts have come oozing out of their holes to cast doubts on conservatives.

And it's not even primary season. Go figger...

Savris is the only reason McAwful won and the only reason he ever led in the polls. Everything else would have been irrelevant if not for this fake libertarian liberal, funded by the democrats for the express purpose of getting Paultarded Republicans to throw their votes away.

many here are far too demoralized

They're intentionally kept that way by those who make it their business to break our spirits. I'm certain that we suffer an infiltration of such people.

I am eagerly awaiting the first state or states to secede, and I am there.

We seem to be growing closer and closer to something like that every day. With every election, the country seems to become more divided. It can't go on that way forever. Something has got to give.

I don’t know about Mark Obenshain. Anyone in VA know if Obenshain won the AG position? Last I heard, the race was too close to call..

When I went to bed last night Herring had just overtaken him due to a transcription error in Loudoun County. Mcawful had around 800 votes in that precinct and it was showing Herring with 62. I’m guessing the actual total was 672 and the 7 got dropped.

Herring leads by 378 votes per the AP at 8:24 eastern. Obenshain should overtake the lead again because the outstaning precincts are Republican and a transcription error in Buchanan County that should net Obenshain another 200 or so votes. Then the provisionals and then the recount i’m assuming.
