Sarah Palin may be once again dreaming of the White House and a run for the presidency in 2016.
After a long absence from the political arena, Palin appears to be strategically increasing her appearances and speeches while also taking solid aim at President Obama. This has led many political experts to conclude that she is aiming to enter the 2016 presidential race, or at least is trying to test the waters for a potential run.
The rumors kicked up a bit this week when a spokesman for the Rev. Billy Graham announced that Sarah Palin will be a guest for the reverends 95th birthday. Graham still carries great political sway, so much in fact that Mitt Romney carved out time to meet with Graham in the final days of the 2012 presidential race in the hopes of earning a public endorsement and assuring conservative voters.
Grahams birthday celebration is also drawing other big names in the conservative world, including real estate mogul Donald Trump.
Sarah Palin has also taken her political tour to Iowa, one of the most important states for Republican hopefuls. On November 9 Palin is slated to speak at the annual banquet for the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition, an important conservative and evangelical group.
After spending a long stretch away from the spotlight, Palin is also ramping up her political attacks on President Obama in what could be the groundwork for her 2016 platform.
In a Facebook post entitled Obamas Debt Default is on His Shoulders While We Shoulder His Impeachable Offenses, she placed the blame for the debt limit fight solely on Obamas shoulders.
Defaulting on our national debt is an impeachable offense, and any attempt by President Obama to unilaterally raise the debt limit without Congress is also an impeachable offense, Palin wrote.
If Sarah Palin is planning a 2016 presidential run, she will have even more ammunition to boost her resume in the coming weeks. On November 12, three days after her planned speech in Iowa, Palin will be released a book taking on the conservative-friendly topic of the War on Christmas.
Pain promises that in the book titled Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas she will tell you how to fight back against those politically correct Scrooges who seem to hate not just a beautiful holiday, but an entire faith.
Sarah Palin is still a long way from an official 2016 presidential run, however, and likely wouldnt declare any intention to run for several months.
“Isnt she the one that wants to hunt black people and shoot hispanics wherever they appear? And drinks tea too?”
Just damn, what is this crap about you are BSing here.
Yes I know,
That's the troll version of what happened and you should know better.
She never declared her intention to run, but many “filled-in the blanks” hoping she would.
every word I agree with.
you’re aware that has never said that and it was a cheap shot against her by the late night show
You really think the Romney GOP would’ve got behind her so she could defeat Barack Obama? Romney, with all his money and connections couldn’t pull that one off.
good grief
LOL, you should ping pissant to your post, you two seem on the same page.
But she’s so stooopid! Not. Palin is the North Star of what is left of Western Civilization.
She never declared her intention to run, but many filled-in the blanks hoping she would.
Guilty as charged.
Doesn’t work that way. Two conservatives running against one RINO split the conservative vote—and let the RINO win.
For the record, if anyone cares, Big Diomede Island and Little Diomede Island are two miles apart across the Bering Strait. Big Diomede is part of Russia, and Little Diomede is part of Alaska. So you can see part of Russia from a part of Alaska. Not that the liberals would let the facts get in the way.
Liberals are allowed to misspeak or not say things precisely and its okay. Conservatives get beaten up if anything is not expressed in a precise manner, which is what happened with the Sarah Palin quote about seeing Russia from Alaska.
She better not play the teasing game this time around. In or out.
Yep.
There should be a nationwide runoff primary, as many primaries as it takes for somebody to get 50% of the vote.
I’ll believe it when she actually makes the announcement...not before. I got my hopes up once before; not again.
Sam ...
I hope we dont have to go through another two years of the is she running or is she not running tease that we got put through during the 2010-2011 period.
I hated that, too. Man, it must be tough to be Sarah Palin. Wow. God bless her and keep her and hers safe. Todd looks like a worried man, to me. I keep them in my prayers.
Guys, we have a problem with the GOP. What does voting "republican" mean? It means "crap shoot," maybe he will, maybe he won't fight for limited government. Its national brand is of the hypocrite, the bargain-on-the-Dems'-terms linguini-spined "pragmatist."
Many Democrats voted for Obama for the same reason Republicans voted for Romney: because they thought the other party would be worse, and many Democrats would no more vote for disdained "Republican" than you or I would vote for a Democrat.
Time is short. How realistic to clear the GOP of blatant principle frauds like leftist big-government McCains and Romneys, and restore the confidence of Democrats re-thinking their "never vote Republican" vow ...
... bottom line, Romney and the like are third-party starters. I don't like it, but it is what it is.
I hope Palin finds the niche.
