Sarah Palin may be once again dreaming of the White House and a run for the presidency in 2016.
After a long absence from the political arena, Palin appears to be strategically increasing her appearances and speeches while also taking solid aim at President Obama. This has led many political experts to conclude that she is aiming to enter the 2016 presidential race, or at least is trying to test the waters for a potential run.
The rumors kicked up a bit this week when a spokesman for the Rev. Billy Graham announced that Sarah Palin will be a guest for the reverends 95th birthday. Graham still carries great political sway, so much in fact that Mitt Romney carved out time to meet with Graham in the final days of the 2012 presidential race in the hopes of earning a public endorsement and assuring conservative voters.
Grahams birthday celebration is also drawing other big names in the conservative world, including real estate mogul Donald Trump.
Sarah Palin has also taken her political tour to Iowa, one of the most important states for Republican hopefuls. On November 9 Palin is slated to speak at the annual banquet for the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition, an important conservative and evangelical group.
After spending a long stretch away from the spotlight, Palin is also ramping up her political attacks on President Obama in what could be the groundwork for her 2016 platform.
In a Facebook post entitled Obamas Debt Default is on His Shoulders While We Shoulder His Impeachable Offenses, she placed the blame for the debt limit fight solely on Obamas shoulders.
Defaulting on our national debt is an impeachable offense, and any attempt by President Obama to unilaterally raise the debt limit without Congress is also an impeachable offense, Palin wrote.
If Sarah Palin is planning a 2016 presidential run, she will have even more ammunition to boost her resume in the coming weeks. On November 12, three days after her planned speech in Iowa, Palin will be released a book taking on the conservative-friendly topic of the War on Christmas.
Pain promises that in the book titled Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas she will tell you how to fight back against those politically correct Scrooges who seem to hate not just a beautiful holiday, but an entire faith.
Sarah Palin is still a long way from an official 2016 presidential run, however, and likely wouldnt declare any intention to run for several months.
Yes! This is the one who should be President.
Go Sarah
Any combination of Sarah/Cruz will work for me
I will absolutely, vote for Sarah.
No question whatsoever.
What would be fabulous, would be a combination ticket of Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz.
If only. Isn’t she the one that wants to hunt black people and shoot hispanics wherever they appear? And drinks tea too?
I hope we don’t have to go through another two years of the “is she running or is she not running” tease that we got put through during the 2010-2011 period.
I don’t think she will do to Cruz what Perry and Bachmann did to her. ONE will run and one will gracefully stand down by mutual agreement.
Sarah will make a strong run and it will be a horse race between she and Cruz for the nomination.
They will leave Christie in their dust.
Waiting anxiously for my signed copy of Sarah’s new book. If she decides to make a run for President...she has my time/service, my donations and my vote.
Remember in 2012 when she announced she was not running the day after releasing her big “Undefeated” video? Half of FR was on suicide watch.
Can she see the White House from her front porch? :)
Or maybe they’ll get together like JFK/LBJ did in 1960 and Reagan/Ford nearly did in 1980.
Maybe she likes speaking out against Obama and likes Billy Graham. I did not see anything in the story that indicates to me she intends to run for any public office. I think she likes being an independent free agent
LOL!! That was very very funny. I had forgotten about that. I recall I did not think she would run, but she is what we need.
Anyways, Palin or Cruz would make fine Presidents -- I just hope they pick straws before the Primaries start.
Mebbe.
She says all the right things.
But pulling out when she would have trounced Obama made me rein in hard.
Yes, she’s the one to beat Hillary.
She’s also the one who can lift up the real conservatives and then trip them into the dust and walk away.
Sorta like when she did that before.
Last time she did that, Obama was left laughing in the White House.
If she does it again, Hillary will be left laughing in the White House.
Kind of a Ross Perot, but worse, because she doesn’t even run - she just undermines any other conservative candidate, and then leaves.
We’ll see.
Don’t get fooled by a pretty face.
Yep true. Sarah / Cruz or Cruz / Sarah or Cruz/Paul or Paul / Cruz or Sarah/Paul or Paul / Lee all are ok for me compare to what the monster we got in White Hut.
“Can she see the White House from her front porch? :)”
BTW - the quote that your statement is based on was never said by Sarah, it was a SNL skit....
We need a lot of RINO's to run against each other, Jeb, Christie, Ryan, maybe even Romney again with either Cruz or Palin walking in between them all, choosing the other as Veep candidate.
Hey, a man can dream, right?
