Every disaster has its moment of clarity. Physicist Richard Feynman dunks an O-ring into ice water and everyone understands instantly why the shuttle Challenger exploded. This week, the Obamacare O-ring froze for all the world to see: Hundreds of thousands of cancellation letters went out to people who had been assured a dozen times by the president that If you like your health-care plan, youll be able to keep your health-care plan. Period.
The cancellations lay bare three pillars of Obamacare: (a) mendacity, (b) paternalism and (c) subterfuge.

In a more honest time, “subterfuge” was called what it really is - lying.

I like that, kind of like the five pillars of Islam.

It really is comical when folks hold this idiot out to be an intellectual. Perhaps you can explain to us where he's wrong.

They are? Krauthammer just said it.

I found the article stuffy and dreadfully understated. Jay Leno probably damaged Obama a lot more last night when he said:
What is it about selling insurance that makes people liars? Your brother-in-law trying to sell it to you or the President of the United Statestheyre all just liars when it comes to insurance. Charles is late to the party and lagging way behind. Heck, even BOR has been talking impeacment lately.

Now that Lois Lerner has been caught red handed breaking the law, she my squeal on who told her to do it. Everyone knows BO ordered this IRS crap against the TEA Party. He used the info he got during his campaign. It's going to all come crashing down on him. Even reporters don't like to look stupid at some point.

If you like your health-care plan, youll be able to keep your health-care plan. Period....I think the alternate rendition is even more interesting - "If you're among the over 250 million Americans who like their healthcare plan, you'll be able to keep it" - if over 250 million Americans (out of 300 million) already liked their plans (even though many of them apparently came from bad apple companies as 'rats now claim), why was it necessary to scuttle that entire system to try to provide coverage for the remaining sliver - except to grab more power for the government.....

Krauthammer is hardly tardy to this party.

Kraut has been *SPOT-ON* with his assessments of Obamacare of late.

Much as I normally loathe Krauthammer, he completely nails it here. Obama repeatedly, and loudly promised every American that they could
Keep their health care plans -
That they could keep their doctor -
That most families would see a $2,500 annual reduction in health care costs -
And that Obamacare wouldn't add one thin dime to the national debt.
Every single one of those promises was false. Every one, a complete and utter lie. And the proof is arriving in tens of millions of mail boxes around the country every day. Even more proof is right at the Obamacare website.
Even worse, the cheerleading MSM is now revealing portions of the law that prove that this thing is anything but what Obama promised in 2009.
And now, as Reverend Wright once famously said, his "chickens are coming home to roost."

Krauthammer’s perceptible roots in liberalism turn off a few folks for good reason.
Charles is an interesting man. I respect him.

An OK article by krauthammer.
Too bad he’s an establishment bootlicker. He might otherwise amount to something.

Did you see the recent FNC special on Krauthammer? A special on Krauthammer? No, I didn't see it, and have no idea why anyone would produce such a program.

Theres a problem with the poll. If you check yes the submit button doesnt highlight.......until you click the no answer. Not when I clicked it.
The poll is currently running 58% to 42% in Zero's favor, with 12,087 votes in. But that's because the Washington Post is mostly read by the political class.

“A special on Krauthammer? No, I didn’t see it, and have no idea why anyone would produce such a program. “
It must have been made by someone who believed that there was a crying need for a special on an anti-Reagan Democrat who helped Mondale try to defeat the Gipper.
Why Limbaugh and Hannity gush over that old liberal fraud is a mystery to me. Well it’s not a mystery actually, both of them act like oafs when someone they think is an intellectual pays attention to them.
