Should children have the right to ask for their own deaths?
In Belgium, where euthanasia is now legal for people over the age of 18, the government is considering extending it to children

Obamacare Supporters Sign Petition For Mandatory Euthanasia Of Senior Citizens
People eagerly sign as activist tells them Were going to put them to sleep like you would your dog

A video clip posted to YouTube by activist Mark Dice shows supporters of Obamacare blindly signing a petition calling for mandatory euthanasia under the new health law.
Dice was able to gather several signatures for the fake petition, telling people in San Diego that they were signing to support putting senior citizens to sleep in order to save healthcare costs.
All I needed to do was mention the key words Will you help Obama and people sign just about anything, Dice noted.
In ancient days babies born with defects, etc were simply tossed off a cliff or left to die correct?
Evil is sweeping over the world like a dark and deadly fog.
Imagine cruel parents telling a (disabled or ugly or sick) kid, “WE WISH YOU WERE DEAD!” a few thousand times.
“WE WISH YOU HAD NEVER BEEN BORN! OUR LIFE IS HELL BECAUSE OF YOU!”
The unwanted kid will get the message, and “decide” to ask for the death needle.
Shudder.
Just unbelievable. Children? They haven’t even shaken hands with life yet and they ‘know’ they’d be better off dead?
And with the parent’s complicit in this, it only amounts to a late, late term abortion.
In Tibet they had a nifty custom. A niche in a wall above a cliff. Unwanted babies were placed there. “Somehow” they were gone very soon.
totally disgusting
Yes, or left outside alone someplace to just die. Exposed to the elements.
Will the Belgians soon be offering euthanasia to Jews? I hear the progressives in Germany once did that.
Pulling the Plug: Five Strategies for Talking to Democrats About Euthanasia
By Eric Pavlat
The topic of physician-assisted suicide, or PAS, is a confusing and heart-wrenching issue for many. In some ways, it can touch us more personally than abortion, as we are all likely to face difficult end-of-life choices at some point, whether for ourselves or for a loved one. We have to navigate Church teaching on bioethics; where science advances quickly, the Church ruminates deliberately, and almost no one is an expert. For this reason, we are often hesitant to speak to others about PAS.
But culture isn’t standing still around us. The courts are setting precedentsas with the Terri Schiavo case in Floridaand the mass media are doing their best to promote assisted suicide as a heroic act of self-determination, as in the recent Oscar-winning film Million-Dollar Baby. We need to talk openly about this phenomenon before the media, the courts, and the legislatures go any further. And we must be able to engage those who disagree with the Church’s position on PASmore often than not, Democrats.
How legal euthanasia changed Belgium for ever
The ideology of absolute self-determination has become sacred and unquestionable.
Tom Mortier and Steven Bieseman | 17 May 2013
In 2002, Belgium became the second country in the world after its neighbour, The Netherlands, to legalise euthanasia. Over the next decade our country has become a living laboratory for radical social change. With many other countries debating legalisation at the moment, now is a good moment to stand back and take a good long look at the results.
In 2002 Belgium was governed by a coalition of Liberals and Social Democrats. The slightly more conservative Christian Democrats had been excluded. With blue as the colour of the Liberals and red of the left-leaning Social Democrats, the press dubbed it the Purple coalition.
The Christian Democrats took a dim view of euthanasia, but they were in opposition. The Purple coalition was free to pass an euthanasia law based on the view that an individual should always have a free choice to end his life. In absolutizing individual self-determination the left and the right found common ground..

I can understand why kids in Belgium would want to die.

* A DS agent was called off a case against US Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman over claims that he solicited prostitutes, including minors.
The agent began his investigation and had determined that the ambassador routinely ditched his protective security detail in order to solicit sexual favors from both prostitutes and minor children, says the memo.
The ambassadors protective detail and the embassys surveillance detection team . . . were well aware of the behavior.
Undersecretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy ordered the investigation ceased, and the ambassador remains in place, according to the memo.
US Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman, with his wife in Brussels, was investigated over claims he solicited prostitutes.
Gutman was a big Democratic donor before taking the post, having raised $500,000 for President Obamas 2008 campaign and helping finance his inaugural.

Could Gutmans Troubles End the Absurd Practice of Selling Ambassadorships?
Nasty allegations against Howard Gutman, ambassador to Belgium and a wealthy bundler for Obama, make a good case to stop giving appointments to big donors. Well see if anything changes.
We see that cancer here already, in a few “progressive” states, it will spread....
Abortion is at it's root, the dehumanization of life.
