Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) rose from his seat on Tuesday during a congressional hearing into the Affordable Care Acts problematic roll-out. He accused his Republican colleagues in the House of dishonestly seeking to identify the problems with the ACA because they would prefer to see it repealed entirely.
Pascrell began by insisting that, even though Democrats opposed Medicare Part D in the Bush Era, they worked to make sure that the program was a success.
He became animated as he said that Democrats put aside their opposition to Bush in order to make a policy objective work for the good of the American public. And how many of you stood up to do that, Pascrell said exploding out of his chair. None. Zero.
What are you going to do about the approximately 17 million children with preexisting conditions who can no longer be denied health insurance coverage, Pascrell asked his Republican colleagues. We want to go back and want to say you are no longer covered any longer. Are you going to tell the parents of those kids?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!! These guys are scared witless about the prospect of going home and facing thousands and thousands of their constituents whose health insurance has suddenly become grossly unaffordable due to the "Affordable Care Act". Sweet!!
Methinks the NJ boys are having a contest to see who can be the biggest thug in the room..
Didn't know the old fart had that much energy.
I have never seen so many ancient old folks on the Democrat side unless it was in a Nursing Home. They had to read every word they said.
BTW, what a bunch of phony outrage by Pascrell.
People who have lost health coverage because of obamneycare: 1,500,000
People who have coverage because of obamneycare: 50,000? 10,000? Hundreds?
Yields: GOP controlled Senate in 2014. Ted Cruz, President in 2016
He should be committed to an insane asylum by congressional hearing order.

I quit when medicine was placed under State control some years ago, said Dr. Hendricks. Do you know what it takes to perform a brain operation? Do you know the kind of skill it demands, and the years of passionate, merciless, excruciating devotion that go to acquire that skill? That was what I could not place at the disposal of men whose sole qualification to rule me was their capacity to spout the fraudulent generalities that got them elected to the privilege of enforcing their wishes at the point of a gun. I would not let them dictate the purpose for which my years of study had been spent, or the conditions of my work, or my choice of patients, or the amount of my reward. I observed that in all the discussions that preceded the enslavement of medicine, men discussed everythingexcept the desires of the doctors. Men considered only the welfare of the patients, with no thought for those who were to provide it. That a doctor should have any right, desire or choice in the matter, was regarded as irrelevant selfishness; his is not to choose, they said, but to serve. That a mans willing to work under compulsion is too dangerous a brute to entrust with a job in the stockyardsnever occurred to those who proposed to help the sick by making life impossible for the healthy. I have often wondered at the smugness at which people assert their right to enslave me, to control my work, to force my will, to violate my conscience, to stifle my mindyet what is it they expect to depend on, when they lie on an operating table under my hands? Their moral code has taught them to believe that it is safe to rely on the virtue of their victims. Well, that is the virtue I have withdrawn. Let them discover the kind of doctors that their system will now produce. Let them discover, in their operating rooms and hospital wards, that it is not safe to place their lives in the hands of a man whose life they have throttled. It is not safe, if he is the sort of man who resents itand still less safe, if he is the sort who doesnt.

How is Medicare Part D a success? It was supposed to break even. Instead, it’s turned many (not all) seniors into pill-popping zombies, subsidized by your tax dollar.
17 million? where the heck did that come from ... and how is Øbama care going to fix that anyway?
“What are you going to do about the approximately 17 million children with preexisting conditions who can no longer be denied health insurance coverage”
They just make up their own ‘facts’ and do it with a straight face which tells me they have had a lot of practice lying.
Hey genius, they are already being denied unless they are under MEDICAID (taxpayer funded), you dumb*ss! Which is actually what you want us all under (except, of course, yourself who wants no part of this crap sandwich).
First, this number would mean that roughly 25% of all kids have a "pre-existing condition." Second, what does he think will happen to these kids when our economy implodes?

This is why I think it will never be repealed. This plays on people’s emotions. None of us wants a kid to be sick.
Imagine if your a single mom of two struggling to make ends meet. Your kid gets sick. You’re gonna do what you have to for that kid. Some politician comes along and says honey, we’ll take care of you and your kids if you’ll support us.
Another politician comes along and says, honey, you made some bad choices. You need to assume responsibility for your actions. Get another job to help pay for your family.
Which argument wins in the court of public opinion?
You can’t beat Santa Clause. The single mom could care less who is paying for it. All she’s worried about is her kids get to a doctor.
That’s why once an “entitlement” is on the books, it never goes away. It only grows.
!
From the title I thought he had spontaneously combusted.
I keep hearing this argument about Medicare Part D, was it mandatory?
There comes a point after a liberal democrat politician gets caught in enough lies that they are rendered ineffective so they than have to resort to in-your-face anger and innuendo. This is SO typical of how a whacked out liberal acts. Good try jackass democrat but displaying an ignorant rant won’t work either.
