(Maywood, CA) Hews Media Group Community News has obtained an audiotape that details how the Office of California State Assembly Speaker John Perez collaborated with former Assemblyman Tom Calderon and officials with the Central Basin Municipal Water District in an attempt to coerce three Maywood Mutual Water Districts (MMWD) into taking on unwanted projects that if they did not accept, the districts, as Calderon said, would be dissolved with a stroke of a pen. The stroke of a pen meaning legislation that would be championed by Speaker Perez and passed in Sacramento to dissolve the water companies. The entities would then be taken over by CBMWD. Even more disturbing, the projects would have landed Calderon, and his allies, as well as the CBMWD a lucrative $25 million dollar consulting contract to fix problems that one MMWC General Manager insisted twice in the audio recording we dont have, or we were already working with the WRD to fix.
Welcome to Mexican California.
Corruption, intimidation, extortion and violence...the new normal.
Cuz that’s what it’s like in Mexico.
They aren’t “victims”...they’re just Mexicans. And that’s their “culture”.
America, RIP.
The purpose of the Democrat party is to elect thieves to office so that they have access to public treasuries in order to loot them.
If that isn't the ultimate basis for a tagline, I've never seen one.
The purpose of the Democrat party is to elect thieves to loot the public treasuries.
I see that Mr. Perez has been enhancing his resume for higher office.
bump
Forget it Nick...it’s Chinatown.
Has not water been a big corruption scam in Cali for many years?
Perez is Hispanic, ultra-lib & flys the rainbow flag..
Nothing to see here, move along.
Oh & is related to Tony Villar..another resume enhancer for the La Raza gang.
Or Mexifornia as Victor Hanson calls it.
What term limits gave us is anonymous thugs who come to Sacramento to loot and leave, before they even have a serious legislative record. They have no motive to serve and stay but to make sure they have “means” by the time they are forced to leave.
I bought one of these on eBay a few years ago. Once had a 20-something librarian ask me for ID, so I showed her this. MAJOR confusion on her part, embarrassment, "How Politically Uncorrect! what to do, what do I say?" etc. After a few seconds I told her I was just kidding and you could see her relief - another crisis averted.
