Since Hudson tends to lean to the right politically, My guess is that the feds are fishing either for some damning info that she may have gathered or perhaps the name or names of some of her confidential sources who may very well be White-House or administration leaks that need to be silenced by the Obama Administration. The weapons search was only used as a legal means to gain entry.
