Watch out, Alan Grayson: you've got competition when it comes to uttering the ugliest slur on Tea Party Republicans . . .
Sure, you've compared them to the Klan. But fellow Dem Steve Cohen has upped the ante. On Steve Kornacki's MSNBC show this morning, Cohen called Tea Party members of congress: "domestic enemies" that congressmen have taken an oath to defend the country against. Kornacki didn't challenge Cohen's libel, managing only to feebly observe that Cohen sounded "pessimistic." Think of it: a congressman has just accused many of his colleagues of treason, and the most you can muster is to call him "pessimistic"?

Thanks. I’m putting that into my list.
Yo’ Cohen... Why yes... I am your Enemy. I am the sworn enemy of you and all your cohorts trying to subvert our Constitution and destroy our Republic.
I will end you if i ever get the chance.
Bank on it...
Thanks for the ping.
I, too, noticed what he chose to shut down and did not.
Yes, he aimed at hurting Americans; but I suspect it was Valerie Jarrett making those choices hence certain perks for the Obamas were not touched.
Note: the U.S.Treasury takes in around $3 Trillion monthly. We had more than enough to pay the $20 Billion interest due on the national debt and to fund the basics per the Constitution. The budget would be balanced in short order.
George Soros wants the U.S. destroyed, and tanking the economy was a goal he requested in exchange for poltical donations.
As long as the news media is terrified of reporting facts to the American public, it will be difficult to get the truth out.
All of us will find this difficult. When I went up to Seattle last year I found a man, a veteran of WWII, who knew Stanley Armour Dunham in England, and later Madelyn Dunham, too, when they moved to Seattle. He told me they worked for the government and Stanley couldn’t talk about what he did because it was all classified.
I had already guessed that due to photographs. I can’t tell you what I suspect because the projects are still classified (it’s ongoing and critical to national security), but the CIA is involved. I think BHO2 is blackmailing the CIA.
National security trumps all so I’m not spoofing when I say that getting the truth out will be dangerous.
Good points. I’m adding those to my list. I was looking at various sources. One whiny page about furloughs associated with the Spite House ( http://obamafoodorama.blogspot.com/2013/10/at-white-house-skeletal-staff-during.html ) said that the residence staff was cut down to 15 people. When the govt was shut-down under Clinton he had 9 residence staff employees that stayed on duty. Joe Biden gets to keep one residence staff employee on duty. lol. Obama still hates Joe; I hope Joe takes note of that.
The language on the contingency plans page (summarized at http://www.cnn.com/interactive/2013/09/politics/government-shutdown-impact/ ; Google Chrome won’t allow me to see the PDF’s accessed at http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/contingency-plans ) fudges things over so it’s impossible to know what they’re talking about. What we need is a list of actual payments made, and what for. For instance, I thought I remembered it being reported that NPR and Sesame Street received funds during the “shutdown”. You can’t tell that by looking at the contingency plans but could tell that by an itemized list of expenditures.
But somehow, I don't think he'd care for it much.
I feel like it’s Berlin in 1933 and my name is Goldstein.
But this time the scapegoats are armed to the teeth with firearms and the clear lessons of history.
I would. Let him know we’ve been watching his type for years.
He’d probably like the beginning.
Great idea. I’ll put it in a clear mailer to make it obvious it’s just a book.
Rep. Steve Cohen. Hmmm. Cohen, eh? Isn’t that a Yiddish name for ‘priest’?
Pretty good. A member of the lukewarm Republicans calling Tea Party Republicans “Domestic Enemies”.
Well. Mr. Cohen, all I can say to you is:
“Stand and Deliver!”
And to let his whole office see what’s in it! lol!
Send him a copy of “After The Coup”, it’s short and sweet.
In my opinion, one good thing Ted Cruz dis=d was smoke out the traitors to the American way of life. Both the Democrats and the Democrats who also claim to be Republicans
And another thing I learned from experience after selling a good portion of my soul and voting for both John McCain, and Mitt Romney is one cannot compromise with evil. Although I do believe after all was said and done, Mitt Romney was a decent individual. I do not have such feelings about either John McCain or barrack Obama.
And soon, it will turn deadly for us.
Renting the barrycades around the memorials and bringing out the dogs although I suppose the dogs wouldn’t cost more but they were taken off their other duties.
It’d be interesting to find out how much those shutdown signs cost and what company contracted for them. It wasn’t just the small ones but there were larger ones placed on posts along the beach, etc.
How much is it costing our courts to process all those who were ticketed and arrested for looking at and going into our parks? How much is it costing to prosecute the guy who was mowing the grass? How many real cases are the fed attorneys not investigating to go after these trumped up ones?
Nice! Throw it back in their faces!
And Obama voted against the debt ceiling in 2006 as well, so is he a domestic terrorist?
You know, I read somewhere that gentlemen used to call another one out, to settle differences of opinion like this...It usually ended up fairly bloody...
Personally I do not believe anyone in Congress or our government in an elected official capacity has the courage to settle this like they used to...
Some would cop a plea like, “Thats just not what we do anymore, its criminal!!!”
Just like the feckless cowards we know them to be...
Cohen is a coward’s coward...And not a very good one at that, which makes him lower than the dirt under my shoe...
But hey...He’s got enough support to be in that office, so the people there must be of the same cloth...
