A stenographer from the House of Representatives was forcibly removed from the floor Wednesday evening during the vote to end the partial government shutdown and raise the debt ceiling after an odd outburst.
Dianne Reidy, 48, made her way to the Speaker’s Chair while the vote was taking place, “ranting about God, Free Masons and the inability of the nation to serve two members,” The Washington Times reports.
“Praise be to God,” she said. “He will not be mocked, He will not be mocked. Don’t touch me. He will not be mocked.”
She was also heard saying in an audio recording: “The greatest deception here is this is not one nation under God. It never was. Had it been, it would not have been. No. It would not have been. The Constitution would not have been written by Free Masons. They go against God. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve two masters. Praise be to God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise forever.”
Reidy says the Holy Spirit made her to do it.

She said the Holy Spirit told her to say:

Of all things, THIS is what God is troubled by at this time? That Freemasons wrote the constitution?
She is not controlled by the Holy Ghost. She was obedient to its prompting. There’s a difference.
We started out as one Nation under God — a lot of us still feel that way. Our Laws were definitely written by godly people for godly people. Whether the liberals really know this or not they can sense it and they despise it. Isn’t that the reason they constantly strive to change the Laws that are good and just?
I have no doubt God is displeased with the actions of most of our “leaders” in D.C. but this has nothing to do with the origins of our Government. Wicked men have corrupted and twisted government that was meant for a just and moral people.

The freemason bit... well America wasn't founded with a state religion for good reason, but that doesn't mean it was formed without Divine Providence. The Declaration states that
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
Doesn't mean the Founders were of "perfect" theology or didn't have their flaws. The nature of any free state is that it is nonetheless operated by humans who will corrupt it over time. The Founders were endowed with the wisdom to design a free republic that would thwart the worst of human nature for as long as possible. There's the Providence aspect.
So if what the husband reports is true - that his wife didn't know what she was going to say until she said it, and that they didn't have any particular discussions about freemasons in the past - then what she said is what she said. Seems like the point was that the Republic was flawed from the beginning, and what we see currently ultimately derives from that. Not really any argument against that - same for all human governments.
Yet, America has acknowledged the work and blessings of the Creator throughout her existence, and even the most corrupt (ahem) presidents still ask for God to bless America. Yet as the stenographer (scribe!) pronounced, "God will not be mocked".

I think she should be interviewed on TV, that is what I meant. Show people her demeanor, thought process and level of intelligence. What is wrong with that?

The unfortunate woman is obviously mentally ailing to one extent or another.
There's something wrong with a society that would want her paraded on TV to demonstrate "her demeanor, thought process and level of intelligence".
Leave her alone....she's not a circus freak....nor should she be the subject of continued morbid curiousity.

That is what many are trying to determine. The initial evidence is that she is sound, thoughtful, and not prone to sudden bipolar swings in demeanor. It seems she wrestled with the consequences of delivering this message she said she was given to deliver. It took a lot of courage on her part.
If you think this is just "morbid curiosity" on the part of those who are evaluating this, you are totally missing the point.

Your opinion is that she is a freak, not mine. I think she is a messenger with a warning and her being interviewed would prove she is not mentally unstable as you clearly believe.
