House Stenographer Says Holy Spirit Moved Her to Shout, 'God Will Not Be Mocked'

A stenographer from the House of Representatives was forcibly removed from the floor Wednesday evening during the vote to end the partial government shutdown and raise the debt ceiling after an odd outburst.

Dianne Reidy, 48, made her way to the Speaker’s Chair while the vote was taking place, “ranting about God, Free Masons and the inability of the nation to serve two members,” The Washington Times reports.

“Praise be to God,” she said. “He will not be mocked, He will not be mocked. Don’t touch me. He will not be mocked.”

She was also heard saying in an audio recording: “The greatest deception here is this is not one nation under God. It never was. Had it been, it would not have been. No. It would not have been. The Constitution would not have been written by Free Masons. They go against God. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve two masters. Praise be to God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise forever.”

Reidy says the Holy Spirit made her to do it.

In a world gone insane, being a little "off" to those loving it, ain't a bad thing. :-)

Printing money; endless debt; endless war; endless lies; religious persecution; illegals; rampant divorce; single parent homes; primetime porn; rampant addiction; partial birth abortion; same sex marriage; big government; mega corporations - give me a break!

Whether you believe she was moved by the Holy Spirit to deliver her message or not, pay attention to what she is actually saying. What she is saying is that this nation could not have been founded on Judeo-Christian principles because the Founding Fathers were Masons and thus the Constitution is a reflection of Masonic values rather than Judeo-Christian ones. In other words, she believes that this country is not one nation under God not because of our current leadership-- she believes it NEVER was on nation under God because our government was, in effect, founded by Masons and upon Masonic principles rather than Judeo-Christian ones.

Acknowledging the fact that many of the FF's were indeed Masons, I have to strongly disagree with her premise. And I also have my doubts the Holy Spirit endorsed her message.

I’m thinking back to Samuel and God’s warning to Israel about having a king. Israel was governed under judges before Saul.

Our Founders didn’t go for the royalty thing but did in some respects set aside God’s plan for government. I have always been conflicted on this and I am not sure what the correct answer is. She may have a point.

Yeah, I caught that. Her words need to be evaluated as a message from the Almighty - not in the context of "her beliefs". In that regard, it deserves serious consideration. Our founders, like ourselves, were not infallible people. An important point she made was that you can't serve two masters (government vs. God) and certainly we are not "one nation under God" - probably never were if you think about it. Perhaps we should be more careful about that which we proclaim to be?

Just sayin'...

I was immediately reminded of the 43rd psalm.

And the founders, being aware of the Crown’s interference and use of the Anglican church, made sure to keep the hands of government at bay from religion, its establishments and the free expression thereof. Too bad Congress didn’t respect their judgement.

I'm not saying this woman is crazy, but even a crazy person is right sometimes and in some of the things they might say. If the gist of her message was...:

“The greatest deception here is this is not one nation under God... You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve two masters. Praise be to God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise forever.”

...then I'm right there with her. All the strange Freemason conspiracy stuff-- only God knows where that came from.

“That cornerstone is based on Judeo/Christian principles.”

But George Washington’s cornerstone is missing. Literally. Perhaps figuratively as well.

True. For me, it's like listening to the sermon on the Mount. Some really tough stuff in there I know is right but makes me very uncomfortable. She has certainly shaken my comfort zone.

A bit more research and I found this was also inscribed on the wall behind the podium:

"Let us develope the resources of our land, call forth its powers, build up its institutions, promote all its great interests and see whether we also in our day and generation may not perform something worthy to be remembered."

It is attributed to a Daniel Webster speech from 1825. Shades of Isaiah.

What churches have pastors who are preaching the coming wrath of God based on truth, not westboro which is totally off the mark as to who they think is suffering His judgment? Heard any good “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” sermons?

Finally DC finds a person they can fire. They can’t even fire Major Hasan, but they will find a way to fire her.

Once all the "nutcases" (as defined by Congress and their security forces) are hauled off and away from Capitol Hill, only the wicked will be left to fall into the sinkhole.

Last time was in DC - a decade ago - that was what I saw on Capitol Hill-- literally (a giant hole). It was at the time of the excavations for the new visitors center. My immediate impression was something like, "Wow, the whole of Congress and the USSC could get sucked down a sinkhole right there.. gee what a location.. isn't that quite the visual. Wonder how the new underground facility will hold up over time (or not)..."

Well anyway that's the image I've had of the place ever since then. It comes vividly to mind at least once a year, at the time of the SOTU address (when they all file in). For some reason the vision of the sinkhole has come early this time around..

And on the topic of scenes that stick in the mind by virtue of being the "last look"...

On the same visit the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was empty. Sucked dry. A waste and desolation. We walked right down the middle of it. It was another odd vision, with probably more "reflection" going on than if it were its normal self.

There was no construction or equipment or barricades, just the dry pool. IIRC it had something to do with filters not working properly so there had been an algae problem, thus it had been drained to dry it up and get rid of the slime. The slime problem must have been another hint.

Well, unless it includes, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Light. No one comes to the Father but by me,” it ain’t gonna work.

The Fifth Seal—Martyrs

9 When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; 10 and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.

Anyone who speaks out on that topic will be viewed as “looney,” no matter where or the fact of the statement.

I have felt it, can’t say it moved me to speak or act, but if someone claimed it as motivation... I’d sure as hell listen to what they had to say. Seems to me that she nailed it.
