The speaker is considering a vote on the Senate-brokered deal, even if conservatives object.
Speaker John Boehner is considering letting the House take the initial vote Wednesday on a Senate-prepared bill to lift the debt ceiling and restart funding for the shuttered federal government--apparently even if House conservatives object.
If they do object, it would mean Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and her House Democrats could become critical to its passage.

WELL, THIS IS WHAT WE GET!

Must be another one of those "vote on it so we can see what is in it" deals.
Even if Boehner doesn't cave, I think we can assume Pelosi has enough RINO's lined up to process a discharge petition.
Pretty slick move by Democrats; taking the majority away from Republicans.

I hope the true, loyal, conservative Americans can muster the votes to stop this. They need to stand firm.
If Boehner goes along and then has a minority of republicans vote for this with a large majority of democrats, then it is obvious whose leader he really is when it counts.
It will prove what we here have known for years...that the leadership in the GOP of Boehner, McConnel, etc. and their enablers, consultants, etc. are not aligned with the conservative principles of the majority of Republicans or what this nation was founded upon and prospered upon. They need to be run out of town on rail and we need to purge the inner vessel of them.
It will make clear that the Democratic Party and the GOP leadership are in league to spend the nation into oblivioin, one being just a “light” version of the other.
As I say, many of us here have known this for many years and have and will continue to fight it.

I’m through with the GOP. They left my family and I long ago, as it moved to the left.
“Initial vote of a senate prepared bill”? What the fudge is Boehner thinking? Bizarre. Insane.
He’s asking for the vote because that’s Obama’s complaint....you won’t even let them vote. Just hang on.
EXACTLY!
Every time some of us say “Third Party” we get, “you’re just electing Demo-rats. Well guys and gals ... what we have is MUCH worse.
The GOP is dead and gelded. I’m not going down with this sinking ship. It is time for the Tea Party and real Conservatives to bold from the GOP.
Holding your nose and voting for whoever they shove at us is not working. It never has and never will.
A lot of this seems to be premature rejoicing of the GOP caving by the media.
There's a lot of procedure to go through before they can cave.

Give it an hour or two. it’ll be there.

Just emailed Roger Williams, TX-25, to NOT support any Senate orginated bill, to fund gov’t by regular order only, and to NOT violate the Hastert rule.
I dont think you need unanimous consent if House votes first.

UPDATE - An obvious third possibility that I should have included above: The House passes a short-term, totally clean debt ceiling hike, and the shutdown goes on. Would the Senate or the president actually block such an action?

not sure what boehner is supposed to do. his own caucus can’t even agree on a bill, let alone one that would get through reid’s clutches and signed by the president...
