VIDEO: Government Forced Kid Cages
The Cal Report ^ | October 12, 2013 | David Spady

Posted on 10/13/2013 8:23:22 AM PDT by granite

In parts of New Mexico children have no choice but to wait for their school bus inside of cages. These “kid cages” are the result of government agencies abuse of the Endangered Species Act. The United States Fish & Wildlife Service has placed wolves in populated areas where they have become an economic burden for small business owners, infringed upon private property rights, burdened taxpayers with management costs, and placed fear in the hearts of those who have to deal with them on a daily basis.

If these were my grand kids forced to wait inside a cage to protect them from some wild animal the Government has actively worked to re-introduce and maintain dangerous wild animals into their environment, I’d find some of these son of a bitches responsible for the program and shoot them.

The purpose of the wolves is to train people not to go in those areas, to stay in towns or cities.

“The purpose of the wolves is to train people not to go in those areas, to stay in towns or cities.”

They’re reintroducing the Florida Panther, each of which required 100 square miles of range and any of which could kill a small child. They bred them back using mountain lions from other states.

Where in Florida is there 100 square miles of “wilderness?”

I’d laugh my ass off if soon a video of Mickey mouse being mauled by a Florida panther in Disney world is posted on you tube.

No one is making these kids stand in cages. This is just overreaction by some liberal and dumbass “parents” trying to make a political point about wolves. These parents think they are conservatives but they are far from it doing this sort of stupid thing.

We live in bear country where bears are a daily occurrence but we don’t stick our kids in cages waiting for school buses. We’ve had bears attack people. We have coyotes, bears, mountain lions, etc., but we don’t resort this level of stupidity and public drama.

“Everglades.”

The signature feature of the Everglades is it’s wet. Cats don’t like the wet. So, they’ll go where it’s nicer. We had some awesomely huge cat living in the woods near my home in Sarasota several years ago. From the coloration I thought it might be a very young Florida Panther. It so frightened the local cats and dogs that they ran and hid when it was around. It noshed off the food people put out for their pets and probably got a few of the pets too.

One day they cleared the woods and started building an old folks assisted living facility. That’s when I moved, so I don’t know what happened with the “cat.” But my guess is it’s the world’s most dangerous feral cat.

Cage or not, those children need some rifles. Semi-automatic at a minimum.

Let’s see how the Panthers cope with the Burmese Pythons. Any bets?

If there is a FORCED program of introduction and/or reintroduction of Wolves into a pacified area, then the parents are not being hysterical. A deliberate attempt at such is not ‘nature’ and it isn’t the same as you may be thinking.

There was a reason wolves were hunted into near extinction.

There is a big difference between a bear and a wolf. bears are usually not carnivorous.

The ‘shelter’ shown in the picture definitely is NOT Govt made or under ANY Govt standards.
I see no ‘NO SMOKING or NO GUNS’ or any number of restrictive signs in view, AND a Govt made or sponsored SHED such as this would definitely have concrete and steel, a basement in case of hurricane/tornado/typhoon/earthquake/tidal wave etc etc etc.

It looks like a concerned parent built a ‘bus stop shelter’ for his kids to be out of the weather and the chicken wire will keep ‘critters’ of any size from spending the night.

One of the local jurisdictions (Arlington County VA??)was going to or built bus shelters in the million dollar + range and I think they were deemed INEFFECTIVE — NOT overpriced, but not usable in there present state.

THE INSANITY MOVES FORWARD IN LEAPS AND BOUNDS.

That cage won’t teach kids about “stranger danger”-child predators who walk on two legs, or anything else-they need to be aware of their surroundings and taught to act accordingly...

New Mexico, like Texas has several species of rattlesnake that are found just about anywhere, coral snakes, copperheads, coyotes, cougars, etc are also nearby if you live in a rural area. I’ve seen bears in New Mexico, in the forest-and they weren’t afraid of humans-those kids in the enclosure probably look like a lunch buffet to a bear.

On the bright side, that bus stop shelter might deter two legged bullies...

You emphasize “FORCED” as though that makes a difference. Presence of wild animals regardless of how they got there does not necessitate cages for children. That’s political drama and paranoia.

“bears are usually not carnivorous.”

Ever been near bears when they are hungry? How about mountain lions that can snag a child faster than any wolf and with much more stealth? We don’t put kids in cages for either of them. We’ve also got Bobcats and Lynx. Wolves have also been reintroduced into Colorado. We still don’t use cages.
