A new rally is forming, “Million Vet March On The Memorials” that will be held 9am October 13, 2013 at the war memorials in Washington D.C.
The group is fed up with veterans being used as political pawns and are calling all patriots to attend, via their facebook page:
We are all military brats, current and former military spouses and some veterans. We cannot express how utterly disappointed we were that our Greatest Generation were being used as political pawns in the ongoing government shutdown and budget crisis. This should never be the case.
We do not care what political leanings you may be; be it liberal, conservative, Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Independent or whatever. The actions of the U.S. government this week with regard to barricading and shutting down the World War II Memorial to veterans, that may or may not be on their last trip to Washington DC, is a despicable act of cowardice.
Veterans this week were unwillingly pitted as pawns in this crisis. We feel that this should never be the case. This is why we will go to Congress after the budget crisis and ask for a bill to be introduced that would prevent any member of the government from closing our memorials down to any American, except for maintenance purposes. In the meantime, we will have our March in Washington DC on October 13th! Our veterans deserve that!
Many in our group have decided that enough is enough. We are Americans. We are proud of our heritage and our service. As all of us were military brats and spouses, we have served in some form or another our entire lives. This is our way of life. We will not stand by and let the U.S. government dishonor the legacy of sacrifice of the generations before us. It is time to make a stand! We hope that you will join us in our peaceful protest against anti-American policies.

But I disagree with you. There are too many bureauKaRATZ who are more interested in their ‘payeeechecks’ to feed their scut, parasitic families, than they are about some obsolete piece of chit like the Constitution.
Oh,they raise their stupid hands and pledge an “oath” uphold and defend it, but they are too stupid and ignorant to know what it is, what it says and what it does.
They get truly offended when you tell these imbeciles that the document was written to DEFEND AMERICA FROM THEM!

I’ve been praying for him. More than usual. Jim Robinson is a gift from God.
The armed American populace consists of 100,000,000 citizens, who possess an estimated 300,000,000 firearms.
Among these, are millions of ex-military members who were trained by Uncle Sam to be professional killers who break things and live to tell the tale.
Also among these, are millions upon millions of avid hunters, who by any another name might rightfully be called 'snipers'.
An even greater number of these, are ordinary citizens who've taken the time to become proficient with small arms, and who often carry concealed.
Most of the above are staunch patriots who would give their very last measure to defend and protect their families, homes, and communities from ANY invader.
Altogether, they represent the largest army on the face of the earth, and outnumber the combined military forces of every country in the world.
Any would-be dictator who wants to try them had better think long and hard before he attempts to execute martial law against them. It may be the last order he ever gives.

US Military personnel take an oath to defend the US Constitution, not the POTUS.

"They'd better be ready for action."
Anything less than that is volunteering some fine, and well-intentioned folks for failure.
1. Have a goal (a good, but realistic one.)
2. Have support. Professional, experienced support. Planning (from experienced folks), logistics (everthing from potties to raincoats to first aid, security, legal, public info, and much much much more.) Permits are a must.
3. Funding. You (we) need sponsors.
All of this takes at least some time. More than a few weeks (I hope that you see this, it's critical).
If this is not what you want to hear, then maybe you need to take a few steps back, and re-think.
For a mass demo to be a success, it needs to be planned in Realville. And, a massive failure is worse than doing nothing.

But, but, but, Obama did exactly as you outlined, and it became the best documented, textbook example of what NOT to do in a battle situation.
It became THE BENGHAZI MASSACRE !
At West Point, cadets are taught from the lessons given us by our best Warriors of the past.
One such lesson comes from one of the best.
He was Calvary General Nathan Bedford Forrest, who when asked who usually wins a battle replied: “The winnuh is the one thet gits thar fastust with the mostest.”
The battle was joined when our World War Two Veterans were Barrycaded out of their own World War Two Monument by POS Barry Soetoro.
