Day 4 of shutdown: Vets are going to need wire cutters to visit WWII memorial.
The fences/barricades were not wired shut when I was here on Tuesday.
We need a bunch of real men to just cut the wires and move the Barrycades—like 200 burly guys, and they can stack the Barrycades in a corner somewhere.
Then stand there and dare the NPS pukes to do something about it.
Remember they didn’t lay a finger on the disgusting Occupy pukes.
Well, we need to occupy this place.
This is a privately funded and operated memorial. If the NPS doesn’t agree they can go to court.
Until then., it is ours.

I can totally respect that point of view too. I don’t think my view would change depending on president though. Our police forces all over the country are becoming too militarized. While DC may be a special circumstance, it still doesn’t make sense that they would not have tried to stun gun her when she stepped out of car. Shooting a driver like that would not diffuse a potential car bomb. I respect your view though. The whole thing is beyond sad.

Yes, that’s how I see it as well....Obmos Acorn people and college students are busy getting people lined up for Obamacare so they cannot gather for their protest against the shutdown in numbers sufficient to make an impact.
Makes perfect sense to rile up your opponent enough to creat e the chaos you’re looking for......and then infiltrate them
to do some real damage to gain media attention and feed the beast.
They’d better take cameras a plenty and video...for any who think to protest. Further...since Obaammmy has DC shut down he certainly has the authority to stop any demonstrations legally...and come out smelling like a rose.

You sir, are still am American. Americans in the United States of America today are in short supply. It is the parasites that are in abundance today. I understand that the future looks gloomy, but do not lose hope. Because, in the end, the chaos they created will destroy them because they lack the character, principles, morals, and last but not least, the will and ability to survive from the fruits of their labor. whether you will live to see it is doubtful and in the big scheme of things, immaterial, but that is how it will end for them. Reposting because it's brilliant. But I'd like to change some things.
The spool of wire was bought by the government, so it probably cost $30. A government employee was wiring the barricades together, so that's probably $50-$75 an hour.
I think probably that the unfortunate woman - who does seem to have behaved like a threat earlier, and attempted to run over the police and even hit a Secret Service officer - may have said something to them that indicated that she had a gun or explosives, or that she wanted to kill the President or some such thing. I think the conspiracy theories here have gone way off the deep end on this one, and I also think that portraying the police as people who just live for their chance to shoot someone is extremely unfair.
But I do think there’s a connection with the shooting and what Obama is doing now in things like shutting down our national monuments, because he has raised the level of tension and unease in this country to unprecedented levels. People who are insane react very strongly to their emotional environments, which I think is why we have had so many mass shootings by crazy people lately. And unfortunately, the police are going to be much more likely to shoot first and ask questions later when there is an atmosphere of simmering anger and violence, which is what Obama has created.
That looks like a horror movie.
