Via Charles Cooke. Imagine it. Imagine a movement so selfish that it would sabotage the operations of a venture on which vast numbers of people depend simply to gain leverage for its own agenda. Then imagine that that movement grew in numbers to the point where it could elect its own bought-and-paid-for politicians to do its bidding. Who knows how much havoc it could wreak? When you think about it, Democrats are right: It really is a sort of terrorism.

So, his labor department is good with companies firing strikers, right?

I worked in a factory back in the 70’s that had wildcat strikes all the time for no reason except to get a few days off.
3-4 days later we would go back to work and claim it was over unsettled grievances.
Company of 3000 workers was driven out of business with silly crap like that.
However, the Pinkertons I could imagine shooting and killing the workers, just in days of yore. ....Ahhhh, yes the good ol’ days. My great something or other grandpappy was a Pinkerton in Scranton, before he was a Marshall in Oklahoma. Apparently, he was one Hell of a Sumbitch.
Imagine if you were a worker who went around demonizing other workers, putting words in their mouths and calling them terrorists and thugs because they disagreed with you while doing their jobs according to the rules of the organization. You would get fired, Right OJackazz?

Imagine if factory workers had the civil service and Constitutional protections of government “workers” ? Not to mention the tenure and unlikelihood they get fired for cause or laid off for “Budget cuts” (which never happen)
Those poor little mistreated govt “workers”
If the owners want to shut it down, they can — and we the people own the government, not the other way round.
