The National Park Service has ordered the closure of a Virginia park that sits on federal land, even though the government provides no resources for its maintenance or operation.
The Claude Moore Colonial Farm announced on Wednesday that NPS has ordered it to suspend operations until Congress agrees to a deal to fund the federal government.
According to Anna Eberly, managing director of the farm, NPS sent law enforcement agents to the park on Tuesday evening to remove staff and volunteers from the property.
You do have to wonder about the wisdom of an organization that would use staff they dont have the money to pay to evict visitors from a park site that operates without costing them any money, she said.

I think you would have blue coats and grey coats standing side by side on this one.
Whats next? Close down all roadways in the country that are owned by the federal govt? The govt owns almost a third of all the land in the country. They going to forcefully remove people from all that land?
They tried to do the same with parks in Wisconsin.
Walker told them to pound sand.

Can someone check on the MLK memorial? I assume it will be the last one left open? No doubt doing a land office bidness?
bam-bam closed that too so blacks can blame the creepy ass crackers.
Let me ask a simple question -
does it somehow cost less to send people to put up barricades and people to stand armed to guard these sites,
than to NOT send people to barricade and guard the sites?
of course it costs more to barrycade and guard them
this was done to make “shutdown” more visible and painful
No expense spared when you’re being spiteful, eh?
Adolf Obama
yup
...less angry...?
More or less.
