The Obama administration is adding more barricades at the World War Two Memorial in Washington, D.C. this morning, according to reporters on the scene.
The reinforcements are being put in place apparently to prevent a repeat of yesterday when WWII veterans aided by several Republican Congressmen pushed aside barricades to visit their memorial.
Buzzfeed got no response from the White House last night when queried about the administration closing the memorial to veterans.
A report last night claimed that the Park Service would arrest veterans who attempt to visit the WWII Memorial.

RT @ChadPergram: Source signals they are going to let the WWII vets and lawmakers into the WWII Memorial on the Mall "Mr. President, the WW II vets are breaking through your barriers for a second day. Do you have a response, Sir?"

Can’t wait to see how the court jesters handle reporting on HUSSEIN’S boarding of AF1 for Asia this weekend. Will they show comparison photos of vets being barricaded from the memorial?

I saw "Battleground" not too long ago. Good Flick. "Battle of the Bulge" could have been good too, if the battle had been fought in the Southern California Sun, instead of Northern European Snow and Mud.
FWIW, the way that Grandpa found out the Germans had broken through the line was when he was in his jeep, scouting ahead for positions for his unit. His driver rounded a corner and came nose-to-nose with a German Tank. :-) No wide open spaces and sweeping tank battles in the sunshine. Just round a curve and Oops! Time to scramble!
Grandpa used to say that the only thing that saved him was the fact that his driver was a just a little faster than the tank's gunner.
I'm thinking that Grandpa would have some choice words on the topic of today's thread. He wasn't the "Shout and Holler, Dramatic Protest" -type. He'd just quietly make his opinion known, then act upon it.

Why the hell is Claire McCaskill there? Someone should ask her whether she will approve a bill to fund the park service.
