The Obama administration is adding more barricades at the World War Two Memorial in Washington, D.C. this morning, according to reporters on the scene.
The reinforcements are being put in place apparently to prevent a repeat of yesterday when WWII veterans aided by several Republican Congressmen pushed aside barricades to visit their memorial.
Buzzfeed got no response from the White House last night when queried about the administration closing the memorial to veterans.
A report last night claimed that the Park Service would arrest veterans who attempt to visit the WWII Memorial.
The optics are going to be awful for this administration...may be the turning point in the favorability rating of the Immaculate One.
My dad used to use the word Arschlock sometimes. Never heard anyone else use it before.
If military veterans banded together for a march on the WWII memorial like the 1932 Bonus March, what would Obama do?
Oh you go ahead and get some pics of 80 year olds being arrested for visiting their memorial. You bastard.
This just cries out for a Group of WWII vets, a supportive Congressman and a camera crew to make the attempt today.

As others have said, the WWII park is open 24/7 and only staffed part of the time, so I don’t see why it needs to be shut off from the public.

Ditto! I wish the biker and trucker rides through that cesspool were going on right now, too. They'd surely give the WWII vets a *hand* with removing these 0bamacades.
Funny how they have enough staff working to set up the barricades, but not enough to let people tour the memorial, which, for all practical purposes, could be none.
