Obama admin. knew about WWII veterans’ request and rejected it

The White House and the Department of the Interior rejected a request from Rep. Steven Palazzo’s office to have World War II veterans visit the World War II memorial in Washington, the Mississippi Republican told The Daily Caller Tuesday.

Palazzo helped the veterans commit an act of civil disobedience against the Park Service Tuesday, when the heroes stormed through barricades around the closed memorial.

I read that yesterday too. The Park Po Po told them they would be arrested and thrown in jail if they tried to enter the Memorial, all three busses. Toledo, Kaptur's district, IIRC. I bet SHE'LL go to bat for them! /s

If Obama had any brains he would been at WWII memorial knocking down those barricades and righteously proclaiming that he won’t allow the memorial to be shut down by those mean and uncaring Republicans in the House.

True America would send out escorts to help WWII vets get to the monument, yet Obama, like a petulant child, shuts it down... if he can’t get what he wants, no one can... may this be yet another pulling back of the curtain of his political facade. This is Obama’s America and I for one will not stand for it. If civil disobedience is crossing a fence barrier to walk around America’s Greatest Generations’ monument, then I join in, in spirit and in truth...
