You are correct. Collect textbooks and also commit to memory as much as you can, or make video tapes to preserve oral history.

She was gaveled out and would not shut up. She's hard to watch, harder to listen to.

This is a vote to get to the conference.
I didn’t realize the senate had agreed to a conference.

Reid wouldnt
The mascot for the attitudes of Reid, Pelosi and the Dems

We should not count on modern technology, even as we hope it stays with us.
It is time to start writing on good paper, with indelible ink, what we remember about our understanding, our experiences, and our history, cleansed of all the psychobabble of recent times.
We need to do this for our heirs, but also for ourselves, so that our short presence on this beautiful earth is not in vain.
Get a journal, freepers, and start writing. Write about the good things, and write about the bad, write happy, and write the sad.
It matters, and you are leaving a legacy for the future, and who knows. If we go Fahrenheit 451, your words might be the only ones to re-establish a better future for your heirs.

Cute Picture!
On C-span - the House and senate will meet in conference tomorrow.
To: Whenifhow
No, you are correct. The Senate "proactively" refused a conference. Who again is shutting down the government?
Now's the time to get the message out to local media across the nation. (Can't count on the main stream media for that.) The talking point that riles the socialists the most is that they could have avoided government shutdown if only they had been willing to subject themselves to ObamaCare without exceptions just as Joe Average Citizen is. They refused to level the playing field. They refused to place themselves on the same plan they are thrusting upon us. They would rather shut down Government than subject themselves to ObamaCare.
That's the sound bite that carries water. "The democrats in the Senate would rather shut down government than subject themselves to ObamaCare."

I agree, with one exception. If you have family members who are not able to write it down, use the technology to collect their oral history. You can transcribe if needed.

The house is voting on whether to go to conference right now

“It is over, and we now have to try to preserve in quiet quarters, the ideals that founded our Republic, try to pass these ideas along to our grandchildren, and pray to God that a small remnant can keep the flame of freedom alive.”
What? Over? Did you say “over”? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
