The Syrian diplomatic and political debacle was bad enough, but last week at the UN President Obama embarked on a campaign for "progress" with Iran that will prove much more dangerous for American interests.
Just as Vladimir Putin had played him for a fool over Syria, Barack Obama was initially snubbed by Iranian President Hassan Rowhani despite frantic White House efforts to produce a handshake.

being played for a fool? I doubt it. Even if you believe O is a fool (and I do not), those that program him (and his damned teleprompter) are far from foolish. Evil, yes. Foolish, no way.
Not being played for a fool. Rather, deliberate protection of, and support for the rise of the IslamoFascist Caliphate in as many countries as possible around the world. And the weakening and eventual complete submission of the rest.
New world order Bolton fills us all in.
In truth, just as the Syrian President was romanced by high-level American elites a few years back, the conversations with Iran are a set up in the works to create a war down the road. Unless, of course, the Iranian leadership turns its nation over to new world order peacefully.
And also the destruction of Israel and the genocide of the Jewish population there.
He’s not being played for a fool. He’d just rather be thought of as weak and foolish rather than the truth - evil.
Looking like a bumbling idiot is better than making it clear to everyone that you’re an enemy of America. This way you can carry on and do more damage than if you expose yourself for what you really are.
He’s friends with America’s enemies, and enemies with America’s friends.
Well when you ARE A FOOL, it is easy to PLAY THE FOOL.
Never Again!
Iran need only learn from North Korea and Syria.
0bambi always loses at Tic-Tac-Toe.
But the Muzzies, collectivists, and the descendants of Amalek will keep trying no matter what.
Rogue countries are coming out of the woodwork to “negotiate” with the fool. He has established quite an international reputation.
What a coincidence!!! He IS a FOOL!!!!! Wow!!!!
The only deliberate fools are those who want to meddle in the middle east making it safe for corporations...Obummer’s real friends while sacrificing the Christian and Jewish communities left there.
Or maybe we should just "drop a bomb on them". Yeah, that's real mature.
“Played for a fool?” Are you kidding me, calling him a fool is overly generous, IMO.
No, he’s just anti-American and his policy is working according to plan.
Clown Prince nobama is both a fool and anti-American.
Manchild In The Promised Land
I doubt he is being played for a fool as he is a fool.
I don’t think he’s a fool. I do think he’s the lord of lies. The people who advise and direct him have a lot invested in seeing the status quo maintained. Nothing else matters to them. I suspect that it was, for the time being, maintained. If the status quo does change, events will quickly spiral out of control and things will get really bad-1929 to 1945 bad.
Ninety percent of our militarism in the Islamic countries can be cut back with many benefits. . American forces should not be sent to protect or bring islamiNazi terrorist gangs into power. Clinton started but its become a major cancer in the last four years or so. We agree that mosy of this dangerously misguided militarism shod be cut back. And we do need to bomb the Iranian nuclear bomb and missile factories ASAP. Only a handful of those nukes are Intended for the Middle East. The rest of them are coming to USA as the Iranian dictators have repeatedly threatened or promised they will do. Not taking out that threat now would be the most foolish American policy decision in history. But of course there are profits to be made so. So. So?
