12:20 a.m. — Hotel and police officials haven’t yet determined the cause of the explosion at Hilton Guam Resort & Spa but the hotel has reopened.

Hotel officials said the guests who were evacuated earlier this evening are being brought back in.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing.

Guam Fire Department officials said at least one more person was brought to the hospital tonight, for a total of three victims. Earlier medics reported one man and one woman were brought to the hospital.

Fire spokesman Lt. Ed Artero said the scene has been secured by police.

10:35 p.m. — Police were able to confirm one explosion at the Hilton Guam Resort & Spa.

The explosion occurred somewhere around the koi pond near the hotel’s outdoor bar, the Tree Bar.

Some of the people that were evacuated to the entrance of the hotel’s parking area are making their way to other hotels.

Police said one person had injuries. Guam Fire Department reported that two people were sent to Guam Memorial Hospital. Hospital officials are now saying they can’t confirm anything but earlier said one person was received.

10:10 p.m. - Police are holding a press conference now at Hilton Guam Resort & Spa following two explosions at the hotel’s outdoor bar.

The cause of what police said were two explosions hasn’t yet been determined.

Guam Fire Department said two patients were transported to the Guam Memorial Hospital. The first is a 32-year-old Japanese man and the second is a 33-year-old local woman.

GMH has confirmed they’ve received at least one patient so far.

9:40 p.m. - FBI and Homeland Security officials are at the Hilton Guam Resort & Spa following explosions.

Details are being released slowly. Hilton officials haven’t released any comments on the issue. And the hotel is being evacuated as a safety precaution.

Here’s what else has been reported:

GFD: Two people were injured; explosion occurred at bathroom, later corrected the area of explosion to the Tree Bar.

GMH: One person admitted with minor injuries.

If there was only one dead, they’re probably just trying to tilt it.

If not for the courage of the fearless crew, Guam would be sunk.

It was probably an attempt to counter balance the weight on the opposite side of the island thus aiding in stopping the tilt. (Of course blowing something up doesn’t actually change the weight of said object just the configuration. Terrorists 101 should teach that.)
